im having probs with teh second part of Beast

where do your fingers sit for the C#m then the 'open G style' lick

digging your stuff

The C#m is (low-to-high) x-x-11-9-9-x. Then you hammer-on from x-x-9-9-9-x to x-x-11-9-10-x. The trick with that last part is to start the lick on the fourth string -- hammering from fret 9 onto fret 11. And then you can let the rest of the chord ring out.

Then does it just loop around again...?

Exactly: use your first finger on the ninth fret for the C#m and leave it there for the E-to-A hammer-on. And then it cycles back to the B-to-E hammer-on that kicks it all off. Rock on, brother!
