Great act, fun to see live, whether acoustic solo or with his 3 piece band. "Motivational Speaker" is a nice album, very Free/Stones/Humble Pie with some nice electric playing. "Big Mama's Door" is a classic, stripped album with Taj Mahal guesting.

What I really like about that track is the drummer (former Kinks?) and the piano.

He's a tremendous Stones fan for picking Sway and Moonlight Mile to cover, lesser known songs. He did a great job on both too, his feel.

Always loved him! This is a like a Winos cover,
" I call my cronie's up and drink some wine..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9DbBz8RjPc Don't know about the lucky 3 or 4 bastards he's playing for here though. |

Definitely a tingle moment when he does Sway live. His licks are pretty killer, especially the slide in the middle. Check out "Lawd I'm Just a Country Boy" for more Stonesy (ok, Doug Sahm) type fun.
