DVD baby!!!

as much as I can't wait to see The DVd, I only will watch DVd's occasionally, but will listen to music everyday... I had to go with the audio over the video...

Depends. We dont know whats on the bonus CD yet.

probably the DVD/blu-ray, though.

I don't know much about the Texas Show...and like stated above...I would listen to music more than watch a DVD...
but like also stated above...I don't know what bonus tracks will be included...so I might prefer a new concert film
to the same old CD / boots I already own...

OK...glass refilled and a bit of research on the World Wide Web...I have decided DVD!!!

For this reason...the show is from the same tour as my first Stones Show...I didn't realize this before...I was 14...not the biggest Stones fan...and it come up rather unexpected as well...I found out a few hrs before the show  I was going...

Wow,big rally for the DVD lovers. Can't listen to a DVD on your car stereo. Give me audio over visual anyday. :keithpunky

I feel the same way, but I do think we will get an audio companion, which will make this way more enjoyable... I stilll look forward to the SG Dlx... but this is so awesome, it's like choosing between two super hot lovers....

I prefer audio over video - I don't sit down and watch a DVD too often, so I WOULD have voted for the "Some Girls Deluxe CD" - but due to the disappointment over the "Exile Bonus CD" - I'm fearing that SG Deluxe might be a disappointment, as well. So I vote for the DVD.

Jagger's new vocals was disappointing. Then again; I understand that something needed to be done, as an "instrumental bonus disc" would be boring for most people. And of course; it was even more disappointing when the songs were (most probably) BRAND new - not just Jagger's vocals - like "Following the River" and "Plundered My Soul".....allthough the later one was a quite allright song; it didn't belong together with any Exile tracks - as it has a total different vibe than the songs they actually recorded back then. Mick's new "affected singing" are lightyears away from the way he sang back then.

Dancing In The Light and So Divine were also to forget-worthy; I actually enjoy the original instrumentals quite a lot better.

Title5 was a Satanic Majesties outtake....had nothing to do with Exile, that one, either!

I like Pass The Wine though - and the alternate versions of Loving Cup and All Down The Line - plus Good Time Women

Another disappointing thing about "Exile Deluxe" was that the "remix" of the original album was a downgrade of the original mix. The new mix didn't suit Exile.

can't say I disagree with your view on the bonus tunes too much. It was mastering, not the mix, rthat was redone...

Yes, that's right, the mastering, not the mix. I seem to confuse those 2 words in English.

I've gone with the bonus tracks.....but I still want the DVD but could live without seeing it cos I'm still enjoying L&G!
