Thanks DHG for this, I've been wanting to see the full performance for years, yes, the look on the audience, which looked like middle aged housewives must have been shocking.

Live vocal over a backing track. Standard practice for TV shows around that time (the Ed Sullivan Shows were the same)

I've only seen brief clips of this performance before, so its great to see it in full at last. Broadcast date 30/11/68. Recorded the day before.

More significantly, this was also Brian's final TV appearance shown in his lifetime.

Whilst the Rock 'n' Roll Circus was filmed a few days after this performance, it wasn't televised until 1996.
