On this day in 1994, Nicky Hopkins passed on.
A brilliant pianist who played on countless terrific songs
for solo artists & bands. His best was with The Stones.

I have years with a LOT of information, full articles, images and videos of Nicky ready to upload but have had no time to do it, now I think it must be in between today and his birthday in February

A wonderful pianist who made such an impact on the 60's session scene which continued into the 70's. They guy was so incredibly busy.

Some days ago a new YouTube account was created to add a LOT of Nicky Hopkins guest appearances, hope they don't get banned, I think it won't as the video is not a "video" but images and the music use to be allowed and a link to i-Tunes added

One of the most magical moments in music. He is sorely missed. He was so great that if you take an album like Voodoo Lounge, if he had played on it, the whole album would have been taken to another level. He has the most melodic sound in all of rock and roll and that's counting every instrument.
