Thinking the same here.
As much as I like Depp as an actor he has not Scorsese's skills.
Besides that I really have my doubts that the Depp/Keith docu will see the daylight.

Depp has produced/is producing: The Rum Diaries...Dark Shadows...and Hugo. The first two I wait with anticipation, as I have always loved [b]Barnabas Collins and Dark Shadows [/b]and love the HST Book Rum Diaries.

Depp has directed a few small projects throught the last 20 years including the Keef Documentary wich is the "post-production" stages at this point.

Looks like a great movie, In The Beatles I've always been a fan of George's, love looking at his guitars, that Country Gentleman Gretsch was really something! He's always been the musician Beatle.

I can't get enough of this trailer...I don't have HBO...but will get the DVD.
It airs Oct 5th and 6th...on HBO and I think at around the same time on BBC.

I wish it were done as a satellite feed at a movie house

I recorded and re watched Ladies and Gents just the other night, they played that right around the DVD release date, along with a Kings of Leon thing, I haven't watched yet and something else cool, I can't even remember off the top of my head... it's a great HD music channel, and very, very diverse.
