Title: 1962 - Rollin' Stones at Ealing Club

I find info about the original group fascinating. Came across this today:

August 4th - On this Day in Rock:

1962, The Rolling Stones played the first of 22 weekly shows at Ealing Jazz Club in Ealing, London. They were known as The Rollin’ Stones during this period.

(Oh, to have been there or to have a tape of one of those shows! And Charlie Watts was not even the drummer yet.)

This was on the web as a setlist from the club in December 1962:

       Sweet Little Sixteen
       (Chuck Berry cover)
       Blues Before Sunrise
       (Leroy Carr cover)
       Soon Forgotten
       La Bamba
       (Ritchie Valens cover)
       Smokestack Lightning
       (Howlin' Wolf cover)
       My Babe
       (Little Walter cover)

You can find a picture of the outside of the closed down club here.
