Pretty ironic that the station that started it all doesn't even SHOW music videos anymore. It's all reality shows and various other crapola.

It'd be nice to see some good old MUSIC videos. I want my MTV!

On SIRIUS 'First Wave" channel...they have a bumper that sings, "Radio made the video star"....

Although the MTV main channel no longer shows music videos, there is now a lot more choice and variety across their network. I used to love MTV 2 and programmes it showed such as Jackass and Punked. All the alternative/indie acts I adored were shown: the Strokes, Queens Of The Stone Age, Libertines et al.
