Recently, I went to my favorite bar for some pre Social Distortion concert libations.  Imagine my discomfort when I realized, it was also the location for the pre Bon Jovi party taking place across the street from the venue...  Needless to say, it was hard to forget where I was at with his music blasting in the background and all the bleached blonde, buxom, tank top ladies screeching about.....

I am glad you enjoyed yourself!  Gazza will survive! ;) ;D

Well, I'm an eighties kid and Bon Jovi were big in Greece around then so it was like being a teenager again, I couldn't resist  :)

I can relate to this, except I'm a seventies kid.

When KISS had their "farewell" tour back in the mid-nineties, I just had to go after not seeing them for twenty years or so.

In my case though, it was a waste of $$.   :boring

I went to the Manchester gig with my wife,who has been a fan since '85 I've seen them a few times since '87 and have never been impressed, but this time I have to say they actually were ,er...............................great . Sorry Gazza ! LOL.

Going to see the Faces tomorrow with flairville, so back to "proper" rock n roll !

LOL!! I have a few friends that have been to a decent amount of shows and they went to a BJ concert because their girlfriends went. I told them, no worries, and that they would have a good time because they will put on a good show. They came back suprised i was right. I was like... what did you expect they were going to completely blow?? I mean, yes, they ARE Bonjovi but they are decent musicians, John is an okay enough Front man and he's got a decent voice. I mean ... you know, they been around a long time... they don't suck in every single respect. They will put on a good show like a seasoned professional act should. I understand , mate (just remember your a guy going to see a Bonjovi show... just don't tell people you went... you could get beat up hehe).

I saw The reformed Monkees on The View, they had a band playing for them, even though their famous for not playing their own instruments, I thought they would be at least playing them, they were 3 lead singers, no wonder Mike Nesmith never rejoined, he wasn't a lead singer, neither is Peter Tork.
