Great article, it didn't mention the Gibson Firebirds that keith & Brian played for a period in the 60's, if I ever got the money, I would buy a Gibson Hummingbird acoustic, one of the best acoustic steel string guitars around.

His collection of Ted Newman Jones Guitars is sure really great , they were his first 5 strings !

My fav Keith guitars were the Flying V played in Hyde Park (stolen) and the 5-string Zemaitis (lost in a fire). The couple of Dan Armstrong Plexis comes next.

I dunno...

Realize that he has played a bazillion Gibsons
And I appreciate all of the fine guitars our hero has played over the years.

But when I think Keith Richards, I think Fender Tele's - it is just his signature axe in my mind.

Certain things just go together...
