We went to Jeff Beck's fantastic Les Paul tribute show at the Beacon last night, featuring Imelda May and her band. Imelda was a fantastic Mary Ford to Jeff's Les Paul. It was a great night. He is like the "invisible superstar", he rarely speaks on stage. He just wants to play. At the end when Imelda was saying "and the amazing, genius....Jeff Beck!" he put his hands over his ears like he didn't want to hear it. Priceless.

BTW, congratulations Jeff Beck is one of the best and his shows are great... now with singing not just instrumental!

I am a Jeff Beck fan since the early days and seen him many times.Always read the reviews and seen him once in the states. Would love him to bring the Rock n'Roll show to the U.K. Imelda May and her band work great with Jeff. :keithpunky

Nope.
A Gretsch Duo Jet that is. Cliff Gallup, one of Jeff's early idols, played that model
in Gene Vincent's Band "The Blue Caps" back in the 50ies.
