Just one question me Stonesian Brothers & Sisters     ...... Who IS she ?!

http://www.omaha.com/article/20110317/NEWS01/110319623#going-gaga-starts-early

" Going 'Gaga' starts early ..................

" Tens of thousands of fans are descending on Qwest Center Omaha for tonight's Lady Gaga show.

Many drove in from out of state. All were hoping to nab the best floor spots when the doors open a little before the concert's 8 p.m. start.

Many fans were dressed like their idol or in other colorful garb, eager to cap their St. Patrick's Day revelry at the show.

Downtown bars were jammed with a mix of concertgoers and basketball fans glued to the tube for the NCAA tournament.

Chase Carda of Yankton, S.D., was waiting in line with his "bestie since pre-school," Britta True, who's never been to a big concert before.

"This is all we've been talking about for 196 days." Tickets for the Omaha concert went on sale Oct. 3.

Carda and True didn't come in costume. (Britta thought that running shoes would be more appropriate, especially once it's time to get seats.)

But many other fans busted out their best meat dresses and stilletto heels, plus lots and lots of caution tape.

Near the front of the line, Ben Beck was jumping around in fishnet pantyhose, platform heels and nipple tape.

He and his friends had come in from Minneapolis, where he studies nursing. Ben bought tickets for tonight's show 20 minutes after leaving a Gaga concert in St. Paul, Minn.

"The Monster Ball is the greatest show on earth."

After all the driving and waiting in line, he wasn't worried that he might run out of energy before the show starts. "I don't think that "tired" is a feeling I can feel right now."

************* WTF ?! *************

Why ?   WHY ?!   .... Why do not the Rolling Stones get this kind of publicity anymore  ?

Lady Gaga Reveals She Smokes Pot When Writing Music On '60 Minutes'
'What artists do wrong is they lie and I don't lie, I'm not a liar,' self-proclaimed fame-master says on CBS special.

During Anderson Cooper's sit-down with Lady Gaga on CBS' "60 Minutes," the veteran anchor noted her refreshing candor, and in the segment the megastar demonstrated just how open she could be.

The "60 Minutes" cameras followed Gaga across the globe for a segment that aired Sunday night (February 13), and Mother Monster freely dished that while she no longer dabbles in cocaine, she does partake in some herbal refreshment when she opens her lyrics.

"I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it for '60 Minutes,' " Gaga said matter-of-factly, adding that she knocks back whiskey as well when she writes. The "Born This Way" singer, who maintained in the same interview that she had "mastered the art of fame," added that her upfront manner is central to her superstardom.

"What artists do wrong is they lie, and I don't lie. I'm not a liar," she said.

And as we all know, she's not shy either, letting the "60 Minutes" crew tag along with her on a walk on the Thames river in London that gets crashed by paparazzi (she admitted she never gets used to the overamped photogs), showing up nearly nude to a sit-down in Milan ("I just didn't want to wear clothes today," she explained. "I just wanted eyeliner and my McQueen boots") and describing her rocky years as a high-school misfit.

"I felt disenfranchised by my school and the people at the school who would make fun of me ... and make me not feel cool," she said. Her new nom de stage - and the elaborately creative persona that accompanies it - liberated her from her confidence issues.

"I was able to leave such a massive amount of insecurities behind me by giving me that name," she said. "You have the freedom to pull that superstar out of yourself that you were born to be."

As her fans can attest, she's got the superstar thing down; the segment showed her preaching self-empowering proclamations to crying, emotional fans in concert. She also batted away any notions that she doesn't helm her image personally, insisting she works studiously when it comes to creating her headline-making getups and chart-topping anthems.

"I'm a true academic when it comes to music and when it comes to my style," she maintained. "There's always some sort of a story or a concept that I'm telling."

During the interview she rocks out to a few seconds of "Born This Way," tries to drop in on her old New York apartment and dishes about what she does and does not answer to in bed. Given the outrageousness of her antics and image, Cooper asked what the real Gaga is like. The pop sensation maintained there's no difference between who she is onstage and off.
"How much more real could I be?" she wondered, when recounting how photogs often ask for Gaga to be herself. "This is what I'm really like. This is the coffee I drink every day, this is the diamond I put in the cup when I get nervous," she added, suckling a fake diamond-like rock that she dropped in her cup - which is very likely a singular Gaga quirk.

" Lady G has never looked so good. "

" While some St. Patrick's Day partiers spent their Thursday night paying homage to the patron saint of Ireland, concertgoers who filled the Qwest Center Omaha to capacity honored the patron saint of theatrical dance pop, outrageous attire and egg-shaped vessels.

After taking her blockbuster “Monster Ball Tour” to more than 170 cities worldwide since November 2009, pop superstar Lady Gaga brought her eye-catching, energetic, elaborate and, yes, entertaining stage show to Omaha for a sold-out concert.

Throughout the 2-hour dizzying spectacle, the 24-year-old star strutted, slinked and sashayed across the stage and catwalk, performing a string of chart-topping hits from her smash debut album “The Fame” and her Grammy Award-winning followup, 2009's “The Fame Monster.”

While Gaga has been arriving onstage anywhere from 60 minutes to nearly two hours late at recent shows in Toronto, Boston and Dallas, Omaha fans only had to wait 30 minutes beyond the scheduled 9 p.m. start time.

In front of her adoring, enraptured gaggle of fans, whom she calls little monsters, Gaga presented herself to the crowd from atop a staircase wearing a revealing purple outfit and bright yellow hair. The crowd ranged from grade-schoolers to grandparents.

She kicked off her set with “Dance in the Dark,” which she followed with “Glitter and Grease” and “Just Dance.”

Joined by an ensemble of musicians, backing vocalists and androgynous, gyrating dancers, Mother Monster filled the first half of the show with “Love Game,” “Boys Boys Boys” and “The Fame,” among other hits. Crowd favorites “Poker Face,” “Telephone,” “Alejandro” and new single “Born This Way” showed up later in the concert.

An ever-changing mix of elaborate stage lighting, eye-popping visuals and flashy set pieces (a silver subway car, a forest, an enormous monster with tentacles and giant teeth) provided a visual feast for concertgoers and kept fans on their feet screaming, clapping, singing and bouncing along to Gaga's infectious groove.

“The Monster Ball will set you free, Omaha!” she told the audience.

Throughout the evening, Gaga thanked fans for their support and sprinkled her stage banter with frequent messages of the bullies-are-bad, individuality-is-good variety.

“It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or how much money you have in your pocket, because tonight and every night after you can be whoever you want to be.”

This being Gaga, there was no shortage of crazy costumes, which consisted mainly of the skimpy, strange and see-through kind.

For “Love Game,” she sported a sheer PVC-like dress and nun's habit. She wore a futuristic-looking, floor-length red cape for “The Fame” and donned a short, pointy tinfoil-like dress for “Bad Romance.”

Sparks shot from her breasts during “Paparazzi,” and she performed “Monster” with a weird fringe mask covering her face and was smeared in fake blood by the end of the tune.

“Do you think I'm sexy?” she asked the crowd, which roared with approval. “I think you're sexy.”

She displayed her dynamic vocal range on “Teeth” and showed off her piano skills on the new song “You and I” from her upcoming album. She introduced it by saying, “I wrote this song about the greatest man I have ever met in my life — my cool Nebraska guy.” Her boyfriend, Luc Carl, grew up in Springfield, Neb.

Love her or loathe her, there's no denying Gaga's ability to write catchy pop hooks, captivate a crowd and give her fans what they came for — an evening of entertainment, eccentricity and much-needed escapism.   "

Lady Gaga Says She Loves Bruce Springsteen, Won't Do Reality TV
In a 73-minute interview at Google HQ, the singer also reveals why she's only tattooed on one side
By Matthew Perpetua
March 23, 2011 2:15 PM ET

Lady Gaga recently sat down for an epic, 73-minute-long interview for the Musicians@Google series. The video of the entire interview can be seen above, but we've excerpted some of the most interesting bits from the talk.

On her new single "Born This Way": "When I put that song out, everybody was like, 'The lyrics are so literal,' and I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ When you get bullied, there’s kind of an emotional poetry you go through in high school. "Born This Way" is about saying, ‘This is who I am. This is who the fuck I am.’"

On the rock sound of her new album: "I would call it avant-garde techno rock. There’s a lot of rock influences on the album, but not in a ‘This is a rock music record’ kind of way. It actually is quite steadfast in that it is an exploration in electronic music and in techno sonics. But I have sort of created a genre of metal dance techno pop music with a lot of rock anthemic choruses because that is the music that I love. I’m actually really obsessed with Bruce Springsteen. My father used to play a lot of Bruce Springsteen records when I was a kid, and he was blue collar America. And in a way, I related to Bruce because I watched my father, a blue collar American citizen, relate to Bruce and I think that in a social way, my fans feel blue collar. They feel like they’re the underdogs that will someday be the winners. And I took the influence of Bruce on my father in my life to create this album. Lots of really big, almost big Def Leppard-style melodies in the choruses, but it’s electronic dance music. It’s very hard and very edgy, and I’m very excited for you to hear it."

Photos: Lady Gaga's Best Looks

On teaming up with Clarence Clemons: "One of the songs on the album that is truly one of my favorites, it’s called "The Edge of Glory" and it’s kind of a sad story. Sorry to be a downer. But my grandpa died about five months ago, and my dad and I were going to say goodbye to him at the hospice, and I got out a big thing of agave tequila and my dad sat next to me at the piano and we started doing shots back and forth, and I wrote 'The Edge of Glory' on the piano and my dad and I cried. The song’s about your last moment on Earth, the moment of truth, the edge of glory is that moment right before you leave the Earth. So that song can be played on the piano, but it’s actually set to this giant, huge techno rock Springsteen-esque dance beat. I actually had Clarence Clemons from the E Street Band come in and play saxophone on it. It’s fucking beautiful."

On why she is only tattooed on one side of her body: "It was actually per my father’s request. He asked that I remain, on one side, slightly normal. So I only have my tattoos on my left side. I think he sees this as my Marilyn Monroe side and he sees this as my Iggy Pop side."

Photos: Lady Gaga's Fashion Icons

On what she won't do: "You will never see me do reality television. Don’t even ask. It will never happen. It’s just, I’m not that kind of person. My whole life is a performance piece. So I don’t need to get my picture taken to feel like I’m in a moment of art."

On the Rebecca Black phenomenon: "I say, Rebecca Black is a genius, and anyone who’s telling her she’s cheesy is full of shit."

Lady Gaga has come under fire once again for her new wheelchair-bound mermaid alter ego Yuyi, this time from singer Bette Midler, who says the character is a direct rip-off of her own wheelchair-bound mermaid alter ego Delores Delago.

Wheelchairs in Pop: Gaga and Midler

In a tweet on Saturday, Midler wrote "Dear @ladygaga Ive been doing singing mermaid in a wheelchair since 1980-You can keep the meat dress and the firecracker tits-mermaid's mine." Actually, Midler has been performing as Delago since her 1978 world tour.

Gaga has not responded to Midler's tweet in public. Either way, the Divine Miss M has cooled off considerably and offered an olive branch to Mother Monster in a tweet yesterday. "@ladygaga, let's drink this over at the Emmys in September. Fabulous mermaids can coexist!"

" Lady Gaga filming video in area "

" It hasn't been a long time since she came around. But Lady Gaga is back in town.

According to people with knowledge of the project, she arrived on a private jet Tuesday night and spent part of Wednesday filming what might be a music video.

Filming was taking place in a rural area of southern Sarpy County, and spectators were not allowed to approach.

Members of the crew would not confirm what music video was being filmed, but several nearby residents said they had known for days that Lady Gaga was coming to the neighborhood.

Sarpy County Sheriff's Capt. Dan Williamson confirmed that the film crew had gotten permits to close several roads around the perimeter of the set.  "

In my case I wouldn't go that far, I was totally uninterested, just another publicity seeking wanna be rock star, then I heard her play & the song she's wrote & realized she's got more talent then all the other female performers before her, including Madonna & B. Spears, I'm not into her music, although it's better then most out there today, I think she's trying to bring back the theatrical side of music that happened in the 70's, she takes chances & that's alright with me.
