While working on the pc today, playing the Stones winamp playlist, along came "Let Me Down Slow" from A Bigger Bang, and it struck me, what a really great track that is. And with several other good tracks, "Oh no not you again, Rough justice, Laugh, I Nearly Died, and Biggest mistake,  it's really still growing on me. This "growing on me" happens to me a lot.
I think it has to do with all the shit music you hear everywhere the whole day, and makes you realise that our boys still deliver, although I wished they would deliver more often.

I do like that one, haven't heard it in a while. I will look for the cd and toss it in the car.

I hear ya. And dont forget the great blues tune BACK OF MY HAND. Instant classic IMO.

Back Of My Hand is  my fav tune on it. Mick really plays some good slide there.

Yes! Let Me Down Slow was a favorite of mine from the very first time I heard that album. It's been a little while since I listened to A Bigger Bang... I remember,when it came ou, I played it damn near every day for several months.

I gave the album a listen on a trip and I like ONNYA a lot.

Got to go find my ABB. Haven't listened to it in a while.

I disagree with all the above - but I can't be mean about it.  Believe me - I feel the same way about Dirty Work and its outtakes right now.

I prefer Publix but I always spend too much and get more than I need. :weed
