Title: Last Stones song that gave you goose bumps so good

Mine was the guitar solo on Let Me Down Slow.

Just when you think it's going to be Ronnie, instead Keith comes in, and not a note wasted.

And all durring that solo, Charlie for a half second stops and starts again, simple but amazing.

That song (not the vocals) is almost pure professionalism and maturity w/ hints of Yellow Cab.

Listen to that one again and see.

I would like to know yours so I can feel and let the goose bumbs flow.

The live version of Torn And Frayed from the tour warm-up gig in Toronto. Palais Royale if memory serves me.

Rough Justice

Here's why:

My copy of A Bigger Bang arrived in the mail at my temporary home while I was evacuated from New Orleans during the month after Hurricane Katrina.
Not having a CD player to use while I was away from home, I decided to play it upon my return.

I arrived home, thirty-three days after the storm, to a flat that had minimal damage and no flooding.
There were just a few die-hard residents of the French Quarter that returned on the first day back.
The rest of the population was military police, national guard, rescue workers, etc.

The first thing I did after arriving home was open all the doors & windows to get rid of that funky smell, and then I cranked up the CD player at full volume.

It only took the first few notes of Rough Justice before I started hearing shouts of approval from people in the street.
No one complained about the loud music that could be heard from a block or two away.
It actually seemed to lift the mood for the people walking by my flat.

Like HTM and SG said - does Exile Deluxe count?  They make me feel warm inside.  Otherwise, I have to say "Don't Stop."  Love hearing it still, and it's the type of song that goes over well live, even if its a tribute band playing it.  My last tingle at a live gig?  Every song, baby...

Plundered? Wouldn't of guessed it.

You see there are so many that I forget, like Ronnie's I Gotta See.

What a great band.

Fucking awesome!

Plundered My Soul.  The more I think about it, the more I realize that it's also my favorite Stones song. Mick is in top form lyrically.

Really real goose bumps? For me it's "Brand New Car" from Voodoo Lounge. This is The Stones at their best. One can disagree about the lyrics, I mean how old was Mick when he wrote the lyrics, but this is the last really, really great Jagger/Richard track imho.
