wow.

i just learned to day that MLK's brother drowned in his mid 30s the year after MLK was assassinated. and MLK's mother was shot to death by a deranged gunman in 1974, in the same church martin and his father were ministers in.

holy fuck! what a heaping bowl of tragedy!

From so far away, i can only say, a great man. Flaws & foibles, but a better American than Nixon or Hoover put together. He even got Charlton Heton to march!
