This is not a cry for help! Unless you want to help with transportation, guest list slots, beer jockeying (though the more shows I go to the less likely I am to accept even free drinks).

I would have hit the 200 mark early in December if I hadn't got sick twice including a persistent cough that lasted most of the month.

The part on the blog where I name the best shows of the year hasn't been updated since March but I left that as is because those are the best shows of the year. MICHAEL MONROE in San Diego is probably the 2nd best show I have ever seen in my life.

Not trying to claim gig supremecy either because I would absolutely love to hear from anyone who has been to more.

My top albums of the year list is Jail Wedding Love Is Lawless and The Chapin Sisters Two. Because they were the only ones I had time to listen to. But if I didn't go to so many shows I would have listened to each one hundreds of times like back in the day when I only went to 40 a year.
