Like mother like daughter: Jerry Hall and Lizzy Jagger open the Harrods Winter Sale in identical outfits By Georgina Littlejohn Last updated at 1:59 PM on 27th December 2010 They're the absolute spitting image of each other down to the their long wavy hair and big toothy smiles. But today, Jerry Hall and her daughter Lizzy Jagger looked even more identical as they opened the Harrods Winter Sale. Jerry, 54, and Lizzy, 26, both wore above-the-knee black dresses - Jerry in a Roland Mouret - and knee-length black coats, their hair cascading down their left shoulder. It's in the genes: Jerry Hall and Lizzy Jagger look identical as they smiled for the cameras after opening the Harrods Winter Sale today Their identical smiles were complimented by bright red lipstick and they posed in almost exactly the same way with one arm hanging down their side. The only difference between them was on their feet with Jerry wearing elegant kitten heel Dior courts while Lizzy opted for scruffy lace-up ankle boots. Horse-drawn: Jerry and Lizzy were taken to the sale opening in the Harrods carriage usually reserved for such occasions Walk this way: Jerry and Lizzy are accompanied down the red carpet to the store by managing director Michael Ward Former model Jerry and Lizzy, her daughter from her marriage to Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, arrived at Harrods in a horse-drawn carriage before starting the sale countdown. The pair posed in the luxury department store's Shoe Boudoir surrounded by a tower of gift boxes and shoes as shoppers waited to take advantage of the designer discounts. Twelve drummers drumming: Jerry, Lizzy and bargain hunters watched a band launch the opening of the world-famous sale Ticker tape parade: Jerry, Lizzy and Michael Ward watched a cascade of confetti before heading inside Lizzy then opened the sale before the pair were treated to a traditional Harrods breakfast. Jerry said: 'Harrods has been my favourite destination store since I first came to London, and there is no doubt that it's any girl's dream to be the first in line to the world's best sale. I am hugely honoured to have been invited with my daughter to open the doors today.' We declare this sale open! Jerry and Lizzy looked like they were having fun as they launched the store's sale Little boxes: Jerry and Lizzy pose on two huge chairs surrounded by shoes as they smile for a photo call for the sale Sale highlights at the Knightsbridge store include a Marc Jacobs sequinned evening bag reduced from £670 to £399 and a Sony 3D TV bundle package down from £3,549 to £2,828. Other bargains included a Herve Leger navy and purple body con dress, which was reduced from £1,350 to £675, a Laura Mercier Mini Souffle Sampler Set, which was reduced from £41 to £20, and an Ecritoire Champagne Gift Set from 1959, 1969 and 1979, reduced from £3,500 to £2,995. Patience: Shoppers stand in line as they wait for the doors to open... ... before rushing inside to nab a bargain as a security guard braces himself against the stampede |

Wow what a big deal they make about a sale! Well I have to admit I loved shopping at Harrods when I was in London. It is a really great store, and expensive, so I guess a sale is worth celebrating! Lizzy looks really good here too!

I've been to Harrod's! It was okay! Nothing spectacular! Just a typical mall! The perfume and cosmetic counters were similar to those you would find at your local Macy's. I didn't really buy anything.
Except, I did buy some candies as souvenirs for my family, and one for me, of course! I still have the tin box that the candy came in. It's shaped like a red telephone booth! And, it says Harrod's! I also had lunch in a Spanish restaurant there. It must've not been that good, because I don't even remember what I ate! |

I've been there too. The place has something like a dozen restaurants in there. |
