Damn, cool.  Some "BRUSSELS" licks in there for good measure, I love it.  Didn't see any setlists since 12/14 posted; I wonder what else they broke out for these last shows.  TFP!

Every show is recorded. It's just a matter of time before it's out there.

remember back when they used to say the didn't listen to teh stones only the faces...what crap.

I thought it was okay but the lead guitar (not the one playing KR part which has the seventh fret capo'ed) was opening with too much filligre rather than building like Mick Taylor or Ronnie does....I guess that why I am a Stones freak and not much of a BC fan.

I have a Fender magazine from 1990 in which Chris and Rich credit Steel Wheels and the tour with getting people back into rock and roll.  Throughout their career they have made many mention of the Stones, and they were into Exile before the rest of the rock scene was.  I think it was their Rolling Stone cover issue that Chris said that "The sunshine bores the daylights out of me..." was one of his favorite lyrics.

Exactaly.

Think that was around Southern Harmony...

I saw them do Just Wanna See His Face a month or so ago.  Brilliant.

I've seen Chris solo do his solo stuff, and I have seen Crowes with Jimmy Fucking Page....Jesus, that was beyond AMAZING!

I'd like to see/hear them do Stones...but their stuff with Pagey was mind fucking blowing...it is a CRIME that tour was cut short due to Pagey's back ailment.

I saw the Page tour.  I loved it.  Recently Chris has gone on record saying that he (himself) wasn't that into the gig and he was only doing it to satisfy some contract or something.

Marc Ford was their best Mick Taylor.

That was weak on Chris Robinson.   For any rock dude to play...to fucking tour with Jimmy Fucking Page...is historical.   If Chris Robinson actually uttered such nonsense...he showed very poor judgement.

It was in Guitar World I think.  I was suprised, but Chris marches to his own drummer.

I don't want to hear his shit. Twice they cancelled on me with Pagey. I'd a killed to hear that show. Like their Stones covers. But it's not like Chris has the greatest voice in the world. He actually sounds like it's shot.

In my view, this confirms Chris Robinson's poor judgement.  He is a legend "in his own mind".

FROM UNDERGROUND UPRISING:

I have always been a big fan of when Jimmy played with the Crowes having had in the collection previous amateur videos which were pretty good to say the least and the various audio bootlegs that were available to us all right through to the official release from the Greek Theatre in 1999. This release is a welcome addition to any collector, Jimmy whilst playing with the Crowes was always on fire, some people regard the vocalist as being "Tame / weak / not Robert Plant etc" should ignore this fact, cause this is all about Jimmy playing old zep standards at some of his highest standards. The highlights for me were Lemon Song, Celebration Day, In My Time of Dying. Lets not forget that the Crowes are a pretty tight and professional band and can certainly handle their instruments. The DVD itself is indeed a pro shot, where it come from who knows and who cares, the picture quality is fantastic with multi camera angles, there is a minor tape flaw in places but this does not detract from the viewing at all. The sound is simply fantastic also. This is a fantastic release and a master class in guitar playing, the intermingling of Jimmy with the Crowes guitarists is fantastic, such a pity they stopped playing. A big thumbs up on this one to the people who released it, lets hope for more. (Big Lee From Tipton Jan 07)
