First time I'd seen him. Great show. Wasn't prepared for the hilarious onstage banter. Dude is a trip...

Did he play by himself, with a band or what?

He was meant to play in a bar near me a month ago, but it was postponed until Jan 23rd after he went into rehab. The impression I got from the promoter was that he was playing with just one other guy in the band.

Really looking forward to it. 'Harlem River Blues' is my favourite record of the year next to the Bruce one.

Based on the last two albums by each of 'em, he's on a better run of form than his old man these days.

I only own "Harlem River Blues" but I like what I hear. "Move Over Mama" and the title track are my two faves from the album. Is he as "rockabilly" live as he is on record? I might have to check out him next time he's in town.

There would be a fucking riot. I did see his Bobness and his Igggyness at 9:30 a few years back...very cool indeed.
