Feeling a bit nostalgic on this Thanksgiving eve. The 4 year anniversary of my last Rolling Stones show and the last one they did in the U.S. just passed. It was actually Nov. 22,2006 at Dodger stadium in LA. The show was originally scheduled for the 18th. The previous saturday. But because of Mick's sore throat it caused some serious schedule shuffleing.(as I'm sure many of you know first hand). So it got moved to the wednesday before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I remember it more for the travel hassles then the show itself. Flew down from SF that afternoon and hit nothing but traffic at every step. No wonder Dodger fans come late and leave early. Plus it was my 3rd show in 2 weeks and I thought the Arizona show was better. That being a great vacation also helped. But some highlights of the Dodger stadium show. Dead Flowers with Bonnie Raitt. YGTS as always and a good Paint it Black. Let's hope we get another tour before the next Thanksgiving passes. :willya

The Atlantic City rescheduled show in Nov of 2006. 4 years.

A night of extreme mixed emotions with the memory of the B stage right in front of us:

Slane Castle 18/8/07 followed by the 02 shows on 21,23 & 26th August.

7th row centre on the final night with Meg and Sweet Virginia.

I think we started off with seats in Block C on the floor (thanks for nothing, rs.con) , sold them on and upgraded to Block B, and then sold THEM on when seats became available near the front through a broker. As it was the last show, and my two compatriots had travelled all the way from the US (in SV's case, it was just for this one show - Meggy had been there for all three), we all figured we may as well make the most of it.

Atlanta Feb 8th 2006....tenth row after partying with jumpin jack and other locals. Walking in past the soundboard and seeing Sway on the setlist!

Last night of the tour . Not the best night. 1st night was better IMHO. Bought a ticket on the day for £250 A2 row 10 I think. Wouldn't have missed it.

What a great time. And such an amazing group assembled for that final show of the Bigger Bang Tour--Gazza, Bitch, Egon, Meg, Ade, Honky Tonk Man, Kent, Glen....so many beautiful lunatics. And I'm sure I'm forgetting so many.

And thanks to Gazza and his constant seat upgrading, I was able to take pics like this:

The Final 3 shows to date... aug 21, 23, 26 with my mom
flew over from toronto for the shows, had floor seats each time, a combination of block A and B but we kept moving around

I made my way to the b-stage at all shows, i remember when mick threw a water bottle in the crowd near me and someone snagged it

I got a total of 5 guitar picks from those 3 shows, including one from chuck, who decided it would be appropriate to give me one of woody's.

The final moment of the last show (so far!)... band is taking their final bow and ronnie whips his guitar pick randomly into the crowd, I just had to track it down

I was at those last 3 shows also, and yes we did have a great time, I was sat with Gary and Meg on the 1st night which made it even more special

I saw the last 3 shows at the O2 in London :)
On my home turf I saw the 2 Bigger Bang shows in Sydney and Melbourne :)

Ummm I need another tour.
