Annie Hall Battlestar Galactica (The new one)
Young Frankenstein Odd Couple
Galaxy Quest Absolutely Fabulous ( First 3 seasons)
It's a Mad, Mad...World Fawltey Towers
Almost any Abbot & Costello Melrose Place ( I know, I know...ask me tomorrow)

The tear jerker in my life is a tie:

Beaches...and The Red Balloon...my Glimmer Twins ask for this wonderful movie about 3 times a month...I have to leave the room everytime

been on a sopranos kick... big fan of the HBO and Showtime series, like weed, bored to death ,dexter, boardwalk empire and especially east bound and down!

Comedies are more difficult. I like the Monty Python stuff, thought High Fidelity was great (but the book was waaay better) and liked the more wtf stuff like Being John Malkovic. But 5 favorites? Dunno.
