Don't know if this has already been posted.
'Vintage Vinos' Set for Shelves Mindless Records announces Vintage Vinos, the first collection of material from the solo recordings of Keith Richards. Set for worldwide release this fall, the compilation will feature remastered solo and X-Pensive Winos tracks from Talk is Cheap, Live at the Palladium, Main Offender and as a special bonus, "Hurricane". Previously available only to fans who donated to Hurricane Katrina relief at stops on the last Rolling Stones tour, fans have long sought wider access to this acoustic gem. Stay in touch with KeithRichards.com for more information concerning street date, preorder options, cover art and other details. I'm really not sure who the target audience for this set is, cause anyone who was into the Stones enough to have heard of these songs would have get the records when they came out. Inwasnt born when they were released and even I have all the Winos records plus a few bootlegs.
Would it be cynical of me to suggest that this is just a cash in to try and capitalize on any publicity from Keefs book? Suck up every last dollar you can Keith! |

I agree with Soulplunderer, here. If you're a Stones fan, you are likely to already own his solo discs, so who this is aimed at is a little beyond me, also. Can there be many potential Keith fans who who don't care for the Stones?

If there were said fans, they would have the records surely! I liked Talk Is Cheap and the live album although I'm not as fussed on Main Offender, but I think it would be good for us and for Keith if the Winos did some new stuff. |

Yes we may already have these albums but we don't have the rematered ones...

I have Talk is Cheap on their initial audio cassette, vinyl, and CD release, as well as the Mobile Fidelity Gold CD. So far the vinyl sounds the best. I may skip this unless someone says how awesome it sounds.
