For those who want a good excuse to booze it up tonight..or those who just want to help Guinness out of it's falling-sales troubles..

   'Tis GUINNESS DAY!  Arthurs' Day is upon us and revellery shall be the name of this particular boozy game tonight!

Always have time for a Guinness - it's just a shame that it's always the dearest pint in the pub! It was £3.35 in one of my work local's the other night and when I can get a pint of real beer - I.E, cask-conditioned - for cheaper, I'll nearly always opt for it.

Honestly, I never liked the stuff, it's nasty! I know people who love it, but I find it sour tasting, bitter, and it smells bad too! Sorry if I insult the Guiness fans :(

Guinness doesnt travel well. I'm not much of a fan of it myself, but it ONLY tastes good if you're drinking it close to where it's been brewed.

I've heard that too, but it tastes fine here in Kent and London. Having a pint in Dublin... well, that's a different matter of course. It tastes heavenly!

I'm curious about this new Guinness Lager and I'd like to try it before the brewery give up on it.

Why is it that Guinness differs in strength from nation to nation? Here in the UK, it’s a relatively weak 4.1, in the States its 5% and the Guinness exported to some African nations is around the 6 – 7% mark. I’ve sampled the Nigerian bottled variety and its hard work!
