The COMPLETE lack of any Stones' activity for three friggin YEARS now is having a serious detrimental effect on their career and is a slap in the face to the " Stones' Purists " .

Well we did get the new Exile release at least! And the remasters. And Shine A Light. Ladies & Gents coming soon. MICK was at the R&R Hall of Fame gig. Ronnie's tour with Faces. KEEF was at Bernard's gigs in NYC. SO we're not totally void of Stones activity. And there is always tribute band shows to keep up with! KEEF played on a few odd albums, like Sheryl Crow and Wingless Angels. Charlie has been drumming jazz style in Europe.

It was kinda fun to see Mick in front of U2 at the HOF concert, he showed the difference between being a rock god and those who would love to be rock gods. It was kinda like Real Madrid vs Ajax Amsterdam earlier this week, though I received the short end of the stick during that match. Okay...I don't think anyone outside Europe got that last sentence. It's for the better I guess.

OK Gazza's right as usual, besides MICK at the R&R Hall of Fame, the best stuff we got is the old stuff. I dont mind it, in fact I love it! LADIES & GENTLEMAN fvckng ROCKS! If you didnt see it in the theatres, BUY IT! Worth every cent! The movie was extremely SWEET and the boys were so young and fair back in those days! Wow my college age daughter didnt recognise KEEF because she's only seen him as an older man, lol. After I told her 'that's KEEF' she was surprised he was such a hottie! In 1971 I guess the band members were only about 25 or so years old! The movie is ALL GOOD, it captures a moment in time when they were in their prime. I loved All Down The Line and Love In Vain. Theres one part in the movie where MICK lays down on the stage and raises his legs up in the air and lifts up off the floor, the camera angle is right on him. I'm buying the DVD just so I can pause it right at that point and stare, LOL, oh MICK was so fvcking beautiful, and they all looked so fvcking adoreable. LADIES & GENTS is awesome. Old might be better than new at this stage of the game anyway so I cant complain about a lack of new stuff. I'm satisfied with 'new' old stuff! Sure we all want something new but we should know by now, you cant always get what you want! You get what you need though!

My granddaughter , who turned 1 year a few weeks ago, and who got a new Stones shirt from an aunt, is a little pissed. She told me that unless they get their asses in the studio to make a new record and go touring, she doesn't want another shirt again for her second birtday.
