Jerry Hall sells nude Lucian Freud portrait

Jerry Hall is selling a nude portrait of herself eight months pregnant painted by Lucian Freud,

A collection of the model’s paintings will be sold at Sotheby’s next month, including the nude and two other portraits of Hall, as well as work by her friend Andy Warhol and an oil painting by Frank Auerbach which is expected to fetch up to £900,000.
The 54-year-old has also written an autobiography to help “let go of the past” in which she says Jagger, the Rolling Stones singer, was always a “dangerous sexual predator”, according to The Sunday Times.
She described the book and auction as "cathartic" and said: "It's time to move on into the future".
The nude picture, entitled Eight Months Gone, was painted during Hall’s last pregnancy in 1997, when she was pregnant with her fourth child, Gabriel. It is expected to sell for £400,000 at auction on October 15 to 16.
Hall and Jagger met in 1977 when Jagger was still married to Bianca and Hall was dating Bryan Ferry, the lead singer of Roxy Music. They “married” in 1990 in a Hindu ceremony in Bali, a ceremony which was later declared not to have been legally binding.
In 2008 Hall donated a range of items that she acquired during the couple’s relationship, including her wedding dress, to a homeless charity, describing it as a “time of letting go”.
