Could anyone recomend some decent bootlegs for this tour? All i've got is the Kings Of Druggs bootleg from Hartford and of course Still Life.

The sound from the guitars isn't the best on Hartford so I was looking for a few different ones. What do you think are the best ones, both in terms of sound quality and the Stones performance?

I've tried downoading some before of torrent sites but most are in FLAC wheras I want them in MP3. So frustrating!!!!!

Anyway, whats the best one?

I was at the first 2 shows and 1 MSG show...
You could only get tickets thru a mail-in lottery...
i scored tkts for 3 out of 6 (or7?) nights!!!

You had to show up at the arena with your voucher...and be in line at a certain time...exciting AND nerve racking!!!

Were any other cities done that way???

it's a very well documented tour as far as soundboards go... almost every show is available... the jersey shows are good... but the best sounding and performace are IMO...in no order... Houston, Tempe, Seattle, New Jersey and the PPV from Hampton... there's other great stuff, but for me, it gets really redundant.... there's only a few rarirites and songs that only made certain shows... and performance quality varied...

and there's a bootleg of KBFH tapes, that has a mix of Detroit and Hampton shows, some consider it definitive for the tour... it's no Handsome Girls or Brussels...

I forgot to mention...tickets for the NY shows were $12.50 and $10.50...plus the 50 cents service charge from Ticketron if they didn't sell out thru the lottery system and you had to go to your local Disc-o-Mat or Wiz for your ticketron needs

that Hampton PPV DVD where George Thorogood opened is fun. If you don't have that, try to get the "super enhanced version" or whatever they call it where they show George's set and all that backstage footage.

Oh theres MANY,as most of the tour is available on soundboard quality.I would recommed Pontiac 1.12.1981 EX soundboard quality.
