Title: What Was the First Ever Stones Song you Heard Live Post by sweetcharmedlife on Jul 26th, 2010 at 10:42pm
Mick's birthday always reminds me of my first ever Stones show. At the tender young age of 15. I had very little clue about the Stones,or anything else for that matter. All I know is I wanted to hang out with my big brother and his friends when they went to see this band they kept listening to. So the Some Girls tour in Oakland it was. Didn't much realize at the time it was Let it Rock they were playing. Didn't know it was a Chuck Berry song. What a difference 32 years make. :areyoufuckingserious....Could'nt find the Oakland version. But here is a nice version of Let it Rock from Ft Worth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYz0veGSxWU&feature=related

The first song I heard the Stones perform was their cover of Not Fade Away-September 22, 1994 in Philly. The first Stones song I heard the Stones perform was Tumblin' Dice at the same show.

It's hard for me to remember 35 years ago, so according to this:
http://rocksoff.org/1975p3.htm The first song they played at Fort Collins on July 20th was Honky Tonk Women. |

Had to read this twice, as I thought you were asking for the first Stones song I ever heard....and that information is probably lost somewhere in the grey and white matter. First live song was Satisfaction in Columbus during Bridges....But Satisfaction is also the first Stones song I remember dancing too in the early years...
