WOW ! It was my first show with The Stooges two days ago in Istres, a small town in South of France.
Open air show downtown (I guess that the neighbors still have today their ears ringing), surrounded by pinetrees and cypress, all seated...but only before Iggy and the band came on stage.
Pure madness after that !
The man isn't in the same physical condition as few years ago, before his injury, but he kicks anybody ass on stage !
80 minutes long show for this hot summer night.
A friend who saw The Stooges at l'Olympia in Paris few days, ago told me it was "hell on earth".
I think this is the perfect description for this show too.
