Title: David Gilmour and Roger Waters Reunite NSC
Post by Gimme Shelter on Jul 13th, 2010 at 7:15pm
Pink Floyd's guiding lights in the 1970s and '80s, David Gilmour and Roger Waters, set aside their differences Saturday (7/10) to perform a four-song set to raise money for a Palestinian charity.

The pair opened with "To Know Him Is To Love Him," a 1959 Phil Spector tune that Pink Floyd regularly played at sound checks, followed by "Wish You Were Here," "Comfortably Numb" and "Another Brick in the Wall (Part Two)."
Gilmour and Waters were accompanied by Guy Pratt on bass and acoustic guitar, Harry Waters and Jonjo Grisdale on keyboards, Andy Newmark on drums and Chester Kamen on guitar.

The feuding Floydites helped raise 350,000 ($527,000) for the Hoping Foundation (Hoping stands for Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation). The performance, in front of 200 guests, took place at Kiddington Hall country estate in Oxfordshire, England.

That might be Mojo. But if these two went on tour as Pink Floyd. It would be huge and sadly, very few would notice Rick Wright's absence....Or even Nick Mason's presence for that matter. :blankfriggingstare1
