For those who don't know Real Wild Child lives in Monterrey in the State of Nuevo León in the North of Mexico and they are in an emergency crisis because of the Hurricane Alex

Real wild child use to post great pictures in the superblow thread and it's a good friend of many of us. We also have another regular from Monterrey, Kaliman, but he only post in our message board in Spanish. The Rolling Stones played there in 2006

Monterrey copes with damage from Hurricane Alex

The roaring waves and thundering rain have given way to devastation in one of Mexico’s wealthiest cities, as residents in Monterrey continue to recover from Hurricane Alex.

Many residents said they have been without water since Thursday.

The local government estimates the total number of people without drinking water has reached almost 130,000 people.

Meanwhile, city workers have been making two to three rounds each day, carrying more than 5,000 gallons of water for residents in two of the most affected suburbs in Monterrey: San Pedro Garza-Garcia and Santa Catarina.

In the latter, named after the powerful and destructive river that crosses it, many people have been forced out of their homes and into city shelters.

"Given the readiness of the shelters, they’ve been open and taking families in since Tuesday and Wednesday," said Rosa Isela Cantu, President of the Desarrollo Integral de Familia (DIF) in Santta Catarina.

The government of Santa Catarina announced in its website on Wednesday evening that the water service had been restored to the area

Best wishes to Real Wild Child and any other people in the area who might me in danger. A double whammy in that area to start the hurrican season. Not good.

Well let me say at first I´m from Mexico City not from Nuevo León but I´m shocked as everyone here in Mexico about what happened to our brothers in Monterrey.In fact I´ve been participating with a non-governamental organization that helps sending donations to Monterrey.

On the other hand I want to thank everyone for your concern for me I don´t know what to say I´m speechless!! It´s very touching to know that despite knowing only through this medium some of you have shown many signs of affection.
