Hopefully Exile makes a bit of money for Mick so that he can buy some bloody shoes! If not we might have to take up a wee collection and buy him some. His girlfriends a fashion designer, she's probably ahamed to be seen with him in public when he's wearing these!!! Is he being sponsored by Nike or something?

The woman with the glasses must be a publicist of some sort she's in all the recent pictures. |

Has it already been screened? Where's Keith, Charlie?
It's weird to see all these "strangers" promoting Exile and hanging all over Mick and the Stones. Wouldn't it be cool if Anita crashed the party in all her ragged glory? Or Bobby Keys..... I still think MT should have been in Cannes. |

Actually I just found out the woman with the glasses is Victoria Pearman who is a producer with Jagged Films:
"In 1995, Mick Jagger founded Jagged Films with Victoria Pearman "[to] start my own projects instead of just going in other people's and being involved peripherally or doing music."[19] Its first release was the World War II drama Enigma in 2001. That same year, it produced a documentary on Jagger entitled Being Mick. The program, which first aired on television 22 November, coincided with the release of his fourth solo album, Goddess in the Doorway." John Battsek is a UK documentary filmmaker. His most famous is One Day in September (1999), the Oscar-winning feature length documentary about the tragic events of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. At the 2007 Sundance Film Festival he launched three new feature documentaries, My Kid Could Paint That, Crossing The Line, and In The Shadow of the Moon, securing distribution deals for more than $4M. He is also Head of Film at Passion Pictures. Stephen Kijak is the director of Stones in Exile |

She's probably never seen his feet. She'd get vertigo or altitude sickness if she looked that far down. |

If you only saw the shoes and trousers, you'd think he's still promoting Primitive Cool.

Good piece about the film and the Stones in France and I particularly loved this last line (below)because its so true: instead of the Stones going through the motions of driving the "machine" on to the next new release, tour like it was a matter of habit and instead of Jagger pretending to forget about the past....they have stopped, looked back and are ready to acknowledge their legend, not dismiss or ignore it. For those of us who have grown up with this band, its a beautiful thing. "What may be most remarkable in this wistful, moving and, yes, fully rocked-out film is the sense that after spending the last 30 years or more as a multimillion-dollar business focused on the next move, the Rolling Stones are finally considering their place in history." |

Using the new/previously unreleased material as the promotion vehicle....Instead we await the release of a new album that will be ignored live anyway. :wtf1 |

Mick wears those work-out shoes because he's a fitness freak! It's like being a biker and having your Harley. He may have to run a few miles any minute. He looks TOUR ready to me!

Notice the new jewelry MICK is wearing ~ 2 rings, one on each hand and normally he wears no jewelry. So MICK is stepping out wearing some jewelery now! A gift from L'wren perhaps? Or a British knight symbol? I love MICK's hands, they are so beautiful.
