I'll probably watch it cause I'm a sucker for music biopics, but hell, isn't it about time for a Stones movie??
I've been saying for ages the story's got EVERYTHING it needs to be a hit.

I downloaded Nowhere Boy from Pirate Bay a couple of days ago, we're gonna watch it this weekend...I'll give you my review after I've seen it!

It looks.....interesting. And halfway authentic. :) Would like to see it as well....

LONG overdue for a Stones biopic/movie. And everytime I hear "Beatle Brunch" or "The Beatle Years" on the radio, I wonder why in the WORLD there isn't a Stones show like that! They could focus on years/eras/styles....whew! It's not like they would lack enough material for it.... ::) :wtf3

Why has it taken so long to get a U.S. release? It came out last year, here in the UK. It got quite favourable reviews, actually.

You're right about that, it's from 2009, I've downloaded it from BT Junkie, I never got around to watching it yet, I'm going do it this week-end.

My wife and I watched it yesterday and we really enjoyed it!:) The kid who plays John(Aaron Johnson) does a fine job...watching the birth of The Quarrymen with Paul and George is goosebump inducing stuff...in the films extra's they go to some of the real places depicted in the film. According to IMDB.com its coming out here in the States on October 10th.

I watched it too, it was allright, about his relationship with his Aunt & his Mother, no Stu (the guy who was his close friend who died) it closes when he announces to his Aunt that he's going to Hamburg with his group, it shows Paul teaching him a lot on guitar chords, I was thinking when I watched this, they should do one on The Stones, living in Edith Grove, & earlier on Brian, who had a interesting life before he formed The Stones, all kinds of good material there for a movie.
