A real sike-ay-delic garage band, produced by David Hassinger engineer for the Stones for some singles and three albums December's Children, Out of Our Heads and Aftermath, he also was producer of Grateful Dead's first album and owner of the Sunset Sound Factory where the Stones mixed and overdubbed Exile on Main Street

Ah, "I had too much to dream last night", great band The Electric Prunes, but I think they only had one 'known song, I don't know if they did "Get me to the world on time", that might have been the Blues Magoos, but it might have been them, I remember in the 60's, to the drinking crowd, they would say I had too much to drink last night.

"Get me to the world on time" is by The Electric Prunes--- and I'm gonna play it today on the radio, probably a live version

That's what my Dad thought they were singing at first---"I had too much to drink last night". He wasn't crazy about that at all, but when I told him it was "I had too much to DREAM last night", he stopped, thought a second, and said "That's pretty clever." lol

Yeah, they did "Get Me To The World On Time", as Voo said. They had a lot of lineup changes, and recorded a few cool albums...one was called "Mass in F Minor", and one of the songs from that was in Easy Rider.

Yes but in "Mass in F Minor" (glory be to God on HIGH.... Hosanna in the HIGHEST) just two of them are playing, after this "they" released "Release of an Oath" with only the singer recording and then David Hassinger created a new band called "The IMproved Electric Prunes" they sucked, only the first two albums can be considered for me as the real "Electric Prunes" they returned with three GREAT albums in 2001, 2004 and 2006 check the new prunes on YouTube! They rock

If you don't speak the language of love, just listen my selection of music, this is an underrated band and check the VOX WAH WAH AD it's funny as they said the Stones use wah wah and the ad was used early in 1967!! As far as I know the first released song of the Stones with Wah wah was released 6 years later and it was "100 years ago" Am I right? (I know Brian used one in the Satanic sessions but the tracks with the wah wah were not released, he was a multi-instrumentalist purist...)
