I'll go with all the songs on ABB except Back of My Hand and Rough Justice. I can't remember what most of them are called right now. Sweet Neo-Con and Streets of Love come to mind.

Probably the only Stones songs I've never gotten any enjoyment out of.

not sure if it is fair to include GOMMPER...it barly is a song in itself...but it is kind of interesting

'Miss You' is a great record. I'm just sick to death of hearing it being butchered live. Mind you, I'd like to see the Stones tour again if it means I have to put up with it. 'Where The Boys Go' is one of my top 12, and always has been.

Worst ever? 'Hold Back' by a mile. A dreadful thrashing mess that spends five minutes in a vain search for something resembling a tune, with possibly the worst vocal of Jagger's career (his tendency to growl and bark around that era wasnt very enjoyable).

Gomper (anyone able to notice a trend yet?)

To be honest, theres not that many that I cant listen to. Even some of the above arent totally horrendous. Thats not a bad return for a catalogue of 350 songs.

I'm not feeling negative today, in spite of this horrible weather and this stupid world. So I'll say that I pretty much like every Stones song. Maybe side two of Undercover kinda sucks (except for Too Much Blood; I love that one), but it's still an entertaining listen. Neocon is absolute tripe.  It wins hands down not only for its utter lack of anything resembling intellect, it also was meant to be taken seriously.  

Among Jagger's absolute worst efforts of all time, and it had NO business being placed on a Stones record.  That song took what was a decent album and diminished it to the point of embarrassment.

Shame on Jagger for including such a vile, stinking, pile of dung.


This Place Is Empty by the way is a solid good tune.

Ironically, I really don't like the album version, but I would like to see it done live...either from B stage (imagine that sing-a-long!!) or as an encore next to last song w/ the confetti/ balloons etc...as a bone for the set list complainers (hi everybody!!)

I know a lot of folks don't care for Might As Well Get Juiced.  I like it even though it doesn't sound like a Stones song to me.  More like Mick plotting a solo album.

Mostly, I was looking for comment on Broken English ripping off Mick/Stones on that song and video that I never much noticed back then ("Coming on Strong").  Why didn't the Stones come up with that backing vocal riff...or those outfits?....

I notice that their weakest modern stuff tends to be politically oriented - weak because it's way too specific and non-metaphorical compared to their 1960s-70s politics (Sweet Black Angel., SFTD, YCAGWYW, Heartbreaker).

All these mentions of "HOLD BACK"...i couldn't even recall the song...i looked it up, listened to it...it is UNLISTENABLE!!! i looked up the lyrics...i couldn't even follow with the words in front of me...try it!!!

i not even convinced that those are the Stones playing that crap

I enjoyed tuning in online to the WRAT that night when you played it, along with the whole album!

Tough call, but I got to go with Indian Girl because it does more  to ruin ER than any other of their songs to their parent album.

I heard the song once, and have no desire to again.  The only Stones tune I feel this way about.  Thank God it was never on an album; its presence alone woulda turned its album worse than DW.

Too Tough is definitely the offspring of CT, good call.  As for Too Tough/Fight - they're more like cousins, with the same 2-1 chord progression during the chorus, similar beats, and listen to the end of the guitar solo during Fight and the beginning of the one in Too Tough - same dillio.

You can tell which one of us is a musician and which one isn't...... !!
