I'm looking forward to getting it. Its my favourite performance footage from the Brian era (he's absolutely fantastic in it too) - and that includes R&R Circus etc.

A nice bonus to get the whole show as well, especially James Brown's set.

It says a lot for the Stones that they were able to go on AFTER Brown's performance and be as great as they were.

Saw that on the other day, great performance.  Unfortunately, like GLIYWI, the screaming can get REALLY loud at times.

I first saw it on video back in a history of rock class in college in 1984 and it blew my mind!  I'm looking forward to it arriving soon!

GLIYWI is just a sonic mess. The greatness of the TAMI show performance is magnified by being ablwe to SEE the reaction it gets and the way the band (especially Mick and Brian) respond to it, by working the crowd up even to an even bigger frenzy until there isn't a dry seat in the house.

I saw it many times, but the Beach Boys part wasn't in it till now, it'll be great to see the whole concert, The Stones, yes, are fantastic, probably their best live footage from '64, there's more James Brown then I seen before, I think he only did 2 numbers from the TAMI shows I've seen.

"Filmed at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, October 29, 1964, performances include:
Jan & Dean- (Here They Come) From All Over The World
Chuck Berry- Johnny B. Goode, Maybellene, Sweet Little Sixteen, Nadine (Is it You?)
Gerry And The Pacemakers- Maybellene, Dont Let The Sun Catch You Crying, Its Gonna Be Alright, How Do You Do It?, I Like It
Smokey Robinson & The Miracles- Thats What Love Is Made Of, You've Really Got a Hold on Me, Mickeys Monkey
Marvin Gaye- Stubborn Kind Of Fellow, Pride And Joy, Can I Get A Witness, Hitch Hike
Lesley Gore- Maybe I Know, You Dont Own Me, You Didnt Look Around, Hey Now, Its My Party, & Judys Turn To Cry
Jan & Dean- The Little Old Lady (From Pasadena) & Sidewalk Surfin
The Beach Boys- Surfin U.S.A., I Get Around, Surfer Girl, & Dance, Dance, Dance
Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas- Little Children, Bad To Me, I'll Keep You Satisfied, & From A Window
The Supremes- When The Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes, Run, Run, Run, Baby Love, & Where Did Our Love Go
The Barbarians- Hey Little Bird
James Brown & The Flames- Out Of Sight, Prisoner Of Love, Please, Please, Please, & Night Train
The Rolling Stones- Around and Around, Off The Hook, Time Is On My Side, It's All Over Now, & I'm All Right
All Performers- Show Close: Lets Get Together"

Just got an email today telling me that mine is on the way....:) Hopefully with the reproduction poster as well....we shall see.

The T.A.M.I. Show, and the NME Awards Show of 1964 are my favorite performances of the early Stones, especially Brian. Just great stuff. 'Nuff said.  :) 8-)

Double true.  Mick was a true showman.  To see him then, who could think he wouldn't have lost a step on stage for another 10+ years (in terms of sex appeal)?

TAMI was great. i especially enjoyed gerry marsden doing "maybelline".  he kicked r&r ass!  it's too bad they just released crap like "don't let the sun catch you cryin'", not that it's a bad song, but who knew gerry could rip it out like that??

I seen a show one time on the Mersey Beat, Gerry was covering Hank Williams "Jambalaya On The Bayou" & he was playing this Chuck Berry rhythm, & it sounded really good, he could rock when he wanted too, Gerry & The Pacemakers did "Slow Down" only not as rocking as The Beatles did, that's one Beatles cover I thought was one of the wildest rocking sounds I ever heard at that time, John Lennon called it a pot boiler.

If you know how to download torrents, it's on here, along with just about everything in video they did in the 60's.

Yeah, I think it was mostly referred to as "Teen Age Music International", but the alternate, with "Awards" in the title has been used as well.

A shorter one, with the set list:

Just received my copy.  It is great! The Beach Boys got quite a reception!

But Mick and The Stones stole the show!  Keith and Brian were great with the audience, as well.

Bo Diddley was on the big TNT Show, which came out after TAMI Show, there was some movies made mixed with the TAMI & TNT Show, like "That Was Rock" & a few others, you might have had one of those, Bo Diddley was not in the TAMI show.
