well, Man with the Heart of Stone, my apologies if it had already been posted recently, it totally passed me by as I don't really spend too much time on RO and I certainly don't look through ALL the threads when I do....I just discovered it and simply thought WTF? It almost gives the impression that they are taking the piss out of Queen, or running the music backwards, or both...

platter: no, I don't drink alcohol and I say "no" to drugs as well  [smiley=rolleyes.gif]

I didn't mean to sound negative Jo, I know what you mean by not checking all the threads, it's been a while since it was on here, thanks for posting, not everybody saw it, but those that didn't, it is funny.

OK, I have just watched properly and I must confess, I find it all rather creepy and almost unsettling – anyone agree? It’s just weird, weird, weird.

I found it at best Boring :boring, But I do find the Matching or grouping of Jagger Words and the over dub  to be done very well :sad, but it's boring after a short span. And Why the Stones? :blankfriggingstare1

But I am a poor one to judge, as I suspect anyone at RO is.  :wtf1.

I recall seeing this up before...it was amusing in a DaDa-sorta way...I know remember that the [band] who did this did other parodies of other vidoes as well...So the chice of SMU was just one of many that they were able to dub/flub over w/ some sort of "acuracy", horrible, broken English, aside.

they're called shreds - and the guy who does them has made a bit of a name for himself as a result

I guess it's a matter of taste but i find the whole thing completely hilarious

but as HTM points out there is  something psychologicallly upsetting about them -  a kind of mental nausea induced by the disconnect  between the sight and the sounds

I thought it was very funny and cleverly done but it is a bit weird and towards the end it started to annoy me.
