new micro-managing GM at the radio station i work at has been on my case to get new photos as 'the ones we have of you are all of you in skull tees or wearing that kiss shirt with the lips'

then yesterday he said ' we are doing a photo shoot as you will be appearing on the side of buses... i will bring in a station shirt .. as the only photos we have is of you in that kiss shirt '

I've met people with degrees in filmmaking, photography, and communications who do not know who Marilyn Monroe and Paul McCartney are. I met a doctor who never heard of James Dean or Marlon Brando. I've met people in the arts who have never heard a Stones album and who don't know who Mick Jagger is. I've met Chicago Bears fans who do not know who Walter Payton is.

So one guy in radio who doesn't know the Stones tongue doesn't amaze me at all. The world is filled with people who know nothing.

Usually I could take alot of shit from my boss but if they called The Stones logo, "Kiss" Logo. I would personally walk over there, correct the little shit, smack him silly and walk out of there with my head held high and never go back.

That may seem like overkill on your job but I'm the type to do that shit...and love it! ;)

Just wear whatever makes him happy for the ten minute photo shoot and do your own thing the rest of the time! You gotta do whatcha gotta do to keep the bossman happy! My business look is entirely different from my real life clothes, almost everybody has to adjust clothes for the sake of their career! Not to worry, we will still think youre a cool guy even if they dress you up in a 3 piece suit and tie! It's no crime so dont sweat it!
