This is terrible news.My prayers go out  to the family.

It's really sad when somebody commits suicide, I would image her son was brought up in the Morman religion, which is pretty strick as far as living up to it goes, some of those people are so clean cut they don't even drink caffeine.
But depression hits everybody, it's sad when somebody ends their life like that.

Damn.

mormons aren't real good about confronting problems like addiction or mental health issues... they believe if you pray enough, god will fix stuff... they don't seem to get the god provides us with the tools part, like a rehab or therapist... they use their leaders for all this stuff, and these aren't people qualified to diagnos, let alone treat alcoholism or depression... so sadly, some people are dying and thousands of mormons are suffering in quiet b/c they are shamed into not seeking help... I was wroking with a mormon alocohloic, it was insane the stuff this guy was going through. He felt bad for jerking off and having sex, smoking a cigarette... this religion was so far up in his shit, i'm amazed the guy didn't go back to drinking... he eventually quit the church.... I just kept my mouth shut, in order to not have an opinion and give him bad direction on how to get help for his drinking... at least they aint scientologists... sorry the family is going through this... they certainly makes jews, christains and muslims look sane... suicide is a symptom of something untreated, and we can't even stop it if we do treat it, but preventing any treatment, makes people complicent IMO. And religions have a big problem here!!!

It is terrible for a mother to lose an 18 year old son in this way.   My prayers are with the Osmond family.
