Depression is very real, and may have clouded his judgement. Suicide is not the answer.

Suicide is never the answer for whatever are the problems one can have.
Neither if you're surrounded by darkly clouds and everything seems black and with no future.
Easy to say. But its never the right call.

I concur, and regret the cheap joke I made at his expense...well, actually, my joke was at Kirk Cameron's expense, and he can afford it.

But depression is real and a death of this sort is unspeakably sad and pointless. His parents have shown real class (and strength) in using this moment of pain to help de-stigmatize depression.
