Ok,i´m about to say my secret,its been a secret for 20years,only few people has know about  this.Its not about sex,as you might think readin the thread name!
I´ve been writing poems past 20years,and yesterday i took my first step releasing a book.All my poems are written in english.which is strange,but in my opinion,english
gives more to my imagination,many words means diffrent things,depending how they are used.I just tought is it possible to have a contact US or English publishers?
Maybe i´m dreaming too much,but i´ve been waiting to do this for a long time,and now i have enough material to do this.Plan is to put a complete poem to left side of
book,right side a drawning,and short clues about my ideas about the poem,in finish,but IF i could connect outside finland,then it doesn´t need translation.
Any help would be a good thing.

                 Modern Hell

Standing behind horizon
Theres a place we live
And be strong
In this world of maddness and miracles
We live instantly without
Any hasitation
Living in modern hell
Has Begun

All alone in this highway
Running out of time
Took Our life away
Living behind the mirror
Tieds us to the Ground
Consuming us slowly
Thru the pain
Hate is greener
Life was brighter
No friends Around me
In the days of thunder

Looking all those days behind us
The creatures of heaven
Are on the other side
Step forward to watch your
Back again
Darkened Forces I feel so tired
Wind Around these highland Falls
We reach the high
Where Our spirits are Gone

Best of luck, Marko.   I hope you can find a good publisher and your book will be a success.  I'd be interested in seeing the drawings that would accompany these two poems.

You know I'm in your corner, Marko. Your poems are definitely worthy of being published. I like the idea of the drawings too. Put them into a manuscript and start sending them out to publishing houses with a cover letter explaining how you want to present them. There's no time like the present, kid!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]  

(I would also copyright them first. I don't know anything anout the copyright laws in Finland, but I'm sure you can find out.)

I have a few things copyrighted here in the US...if the laws/regs are the same...put EVERYTHING you have  into one batch...as if they/it was a compilation...this way you are only charged for ONE item...it is so much cheaper than to do it an issue/ at a time...copyright EVERYTHING you do...no matter how insignificant you feel it is TODAY...for you may change your mind TOMORROW...when someone rips you off and sells it to Hollywood for mucho dinero!!!

Coming out of the closet of poetry? You didnt have to hide in a closet for your writing ability! It's nothing to be ashamed of! Silly man were you afraid we would see you as a fairy?  ;)

Talent is talent, man, and it comes in all forms. :) Go for your dream! :)

Go for it Boss. Nothing to be worried about, the only thing I'd say about "coming out the closet", is toot your horn,  cause ain't nobody gonna toot it for you.
It's like when we were young, you want to ask a girl to dance, ask ! The worst she can say is no, and you never can Tell. Go for it Boss.
