I use to listen to that on my "walkman" after my shift as a cabbie in NYC back in the 80's. 5am, me puffin a J and drinkin a 40 walking through Central Park from 59th st to 72nd and CPW.....singing... ---I was walking Central Park, singing after dark, people think I'm CRAAAAZY! Miss You is gold..
Going though an airport security check at La Guardia a few years ago, the security guy noticed the Some Girls t-shirt i was wearing (i'd just bought it at Virgin)...
he said with a thick NY dialect, 'That's a great album, i remember when that came out....'
I was visiting NY and had always read about SG being a quintesential new york album and experience...
After all these years, I finally realized how true that was as i boarded the plane back to Texas.
