One of the best stage presence's of any guitarist - not over the top, just right (not including his posing of recent years).  Guitar players on this board - who DOESNT do the shoulder shrug when bending a twangy note, HTW style???

Hal Ashby ... great American director.

Had to be rolled out on a gurney, needle still in arm, during this performance.

For me, Keith is the best. I love his playing.

Keith was STRONG this tour!! (Sadly I was too young to actually see it live, but I've watched the footage countless times, as well as the Hampton 81 version and some Seattle show footage.)

From his hair on down to those boots - the guy was the coolest man on the planet.  Mick started to go down the dancy prancy Vegas act thing, but Keith oozed danger.  Mean n glinty, arrogant and soulful, (mostly) off the smack but wearing a nice coke high and looking to take no prisoners.

Keith done got old - but he did it on his own terms.

We all should be so lucky...

I saw this film at the Forum in Melbourne with my 1st serius girlfriend. When those curtains got pulled back revealing the crowd, we both "FARK!!"

The bitch dumped me a couple of years later. But, i still see her and she is in a miserable marriage to a dork.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm such a lunatic that I swore off taking a woman to a Stones show unless she is the one I'm going to marry. I don't want the thought of ex girlfriends creeping into my mind when I think of Stones shows.

I wanted to take my girlfriend with me to my first Stones show back in '05.

Couldn't afford it.

This is da shit, that tune and video (a slightly different version was shown on MTV  a year before the movie came out, couldn't stop watching it, Honky Tonk was the other one, can't remember what the third one was, maybe LSTNT) made me LOVE the Stones, great groove, great playing, same goes for the first 30 seconds of Still Life, I was blown away!

It sure took some nerve playing these stadiums with just the core band and a pretty thin sound. I remember reading a comment here that many songs sounded the same on that tour. Now they sound like the record...
