Snow here in Virginia! Varies from the west to the east. We have about 7-8 inches here, I guess. They were supposed to get 2 feet in the western part of the state!

We're getting alot of snow ~ about a foot and it's blizzard conditions with high wind and snow drifts. A good day for doing some Christmas cookie baking and house cleaning!

Philadelphia is snowed in. It's unreal. I had to skip going to a holiday party last night. I've spent a good part of the weekend with a shovel.

There's wasn't no snow in Toronto for the month of Nov. which hasn't happened since 1936, there isn't very much snow in Toronto except north of here, but it's been cold of & on.

Just got back from Tahoe,where they are hoping for a lot more snow. Hope everybody in the mid-atlantic stays nice and warm and safe and doesn't have to fly anywhere.

2 feet and a couple of inches here on the Jersey Shore. I'm gonna feel it tomorrow. I must have shoveled close to a ton of snow this morning and afternoon. Looks nice though. Now I just want it to go away.

A couple of inches over here. So we'll be able to move. Quite extraordinary over here in the last couple of years, though. Usually it just freezes for a couple of days and that's it. I prefer those sunny winter days: crisp blue air, nice sun..bit of wind. Excellent for a long hike. This is - as Riffhard said - pretty to look at, but I hope it goes away soon.

the capitol, baltimore and phili and atlantic city are getting nailed with a huge storm that began last night.  it seems to be traveling in a horizontal direction and it has reached as far N as coney island which is getting snow.  nyc and points N like my town new paltz has not recieved 1 flake.  there are thousands without power in the greater washington area.

Yeah, north of us--they are really getting slammed! We've gotten snow, rain, sleet....and now, back to snow. But the totals won't be that bad because of all the rain---maybe 6 inches or so in central Virginia.

haven't seen the sun much for weeks, just got a full day of sun, no more rain and we had lttile league tryouts on fields that needed alot of work b/c of all the rain... we might hit 60 today...

HEY...I used to tend bar at Bacchus...miss New Paltz sometimes...some of the best rock climbing...mountain biking in the NE...and usually great weed too!!!

that's cool.  you probably served me plenty of times then.  i hung there from say '80 until '88  i am not much of a bacchus guy these days, but it is still up and running.  i am  more of mc gillicutties fan.   if you rock climbed and mtn biked here, chances are you know me.

I'm over it too. Only 28+ inches in central Va. so far {the north and west of the state  have gotten twice as much as that}. Got 2 inches overnight and more on the way for Monday. Out of the past 11 days, the kids have gone to school only TWO full days. Ridiculous. Good luck with the SOLs this spring, kiddies!

Shit. around here, they pay you big money to shovel their car out. I made $100 last Friday doing one jeep.

I had 30 inches of snow last week but it shrank down to 20 inches last weekend and now we are getting 3 more right now (Washington, DC)

My car locks iced up this morning.  I am moving to Florida. I can't take it anymore..   I hear Greenland has warmed up though.
