Who from RO was brave enough to hit the Black Friday Sales?  What goodies did you score?

I haven't been a Black Friday participant for years, but since I was buying a TV set for my mother I ventured to Sears this morning.  Bought a 40" LCD TV for $599.  If I had been willing to get up earlier and travel 36 miles down the road I may have found a better deal, but I'm the last cook standing in our family and after yesterday I am beat.

I also ordered some books and a Little Walter CD from Amazon, but that was easy breezy.  How about you, FG?

"Black Friday Scores"

I thought this was going to be an injury / death count from the 5:00 AM store rushes.  :wtf3

Well, I ventured to Target at 10am, but the Item I wanted was already sold out.   I did see some folks buying big TVs...

I wanted a laptop from Best Buy, but due to "limited quatities disclaimer", I didn't even try for it.

I ended up buying beer from my corner store... rotfl :booze

I went to K-mart because they had some thermal underwear for $3.99 and when I got in the car on my way to Staples I noticed K-Mart charged me $9.99 instead of the advertised $3.99. So I finished buying the advertised sale items at Staples, the CD 100 pack and some picture quality paper for the printer. When the cashier rung up my sale I noticed the prices rang up higher, and she said I have to MAIL IN for the REBATE to get the advertised price. So I bought the shit anyway and when I logged on to get the rebate I noticed you can only get 1 rebate not two, so I have to return one of the items. Then I went back to K-Mart and they refunded my money for the overcharge. Next I went to Radio Shack and they were sold out of almost every item on the circular. Walked out with nothing. Next I hit Target and they had everything in stock, really cheap and the best item I found: 4 set ROLLING STONES pint glasses, set of 4 rang up at $13.00! That was the best thing I got!

The only thing I bought was from Target--McAfee Antirus Plus 2010, not opened yet.

Does it have the disc inside, or a card and  you have to download the software on McAfee website?  TIA!
