Post by sweetcharmedlife on Nov 25th, 2009 at 9:03pm
Ok,only for us yanks. But still. Happy Thanksgiving to all RO'ers. Get stuffed in all ways you can. A couple of random appetizers to get everybody started from the last US show at Dodger Stadium. Which yours truly was at the day before Thanksgiving 2006.

I'm thankful for The Rolling Stones, not only for providing the soundtrack of my life, but for introducing me to some of the best friends I will ever know. We are the luckiest fans of ANY Band.

Bring on the Tour.

Happy Thanksgiving.

home-made pickles and Greek olives to start with a cheese & cracker selection

then
roast turkey--13 lb's for four adults and 3 kids, gravy
stuffing--bread crumbs, linguica, clams, garlic, onions, black peppeer, rosemary, thyme, sage
mashed spuds
carrots
peas
home-made cranbery sauce
home-made biscuits
with a couple of nice 1999 white bordeaux's I've been saving

then
apple pie
pumpkin pie
a la mode and/or a la creme

coffee & brandies

Happy Thanksgiving, guys !
I recently discovered the joys of pumpkin pie, what a great invention ! Generally speaking, American baking recipes are very cool.
