Ronnie Spector's album 'The Last Of The Rock Stars' is finally available stateside.
It was recorded over ten years ago, and was originally released in Europe in 2006.

Keith plays guitar on 'All I Want'and does a playful duet with Ronnie on 'Work Out Fine'.

Ronnie on Keith:
"Keith Richards also called me up and said, ‘Ronnie, if you’re doing an album, I’m going to be there.’ And he was. And when we decided to record, he was at the studio. Early. And Keith is never on time! So it blew my mind that Keith was there so early! Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, all those guys, they were the opening act back when I was performing with The Ronettes."

gah. she looks like chrissie hynde in that pic.

keith loves ronnie.  I guess it was pre-ronnie. or something
tell me why me and 3 other people were the only ones on the floor  enjoying chrissie hynde and the pretenders intro at Boston Gillette in 2002.   stones fans are so sad.   when it comes to the intro band. I mean shit. the girl was in high form.

KEEF always had the hots for Ronnie ever since the early days. KEEF is a loyal friend and maybe more? I wonder if he stays true to Patty, my guess is YES or she probably would of thrown him out by now. I dont think KEEF is the kind of guy who lies to his wife, then again, ALL men lie to their wives so I guess we'll never know. P.S. Omission of the truth is a form of lying.
and
I'll tell you why you were one of few enjoying the Pretenders as the opening act in 2002. Because the fans are there to see the STONES and the PRE-PARTY is usually very exciting and exhilirating because you are grouped together with the other Stones maniacs and the enthusiasm level is way up there, higher than an opening act. Sorry, I like the Pretenders too.
