Post by Gazza on Sep 20th, 2009 at 8:39am
Sorry, folks. There seems to have been a technical error that occurred when trying to splice the 'Cops called to ronnie's" and "Ronnie back with Russian lover" threads together which has ended up with both being deleted (why couldnt this have happened with the politics thread?)

Anyway, I'll try and repost the news stories relating to this from the last couple of days for the sake of some continuity.

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood 'dumps Russian girlfriend after blazing row'

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood has allegedly split from his Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova after the couple had a blazing row, it has been reported.

The couple, who have been dating for about a year, were said to have rowed so loudly after an all-night party at that police were called to their £5 million North London home.

After the row, in the early hours of Monday morning, the Rolling Stones guitarist, 62, is reported to have kicked his 20-year-old lover out.

The couple allegedly began arguing after he told her of his plans to have dinner with his estranged 54 year-old wife Jo, daughter Leah and her baby girl Maggie Dylan.

Neighbours reportedly claimed that the pair was "screaming abuse at each other", with Miss Ivanova at one point heard yelling "I'm going to kill myself… you’re going to find me dead" after he told her she could not accompany him to dinner.

He is then reported to have shouted expletives back.

A source close to the family told the Daily Mail the dinner had been arranged in an attempt to reconcile differences in the family since Wood split from his wife, who is appearing on the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing series.

Miss Ivanova, who had been “simmering” about Wood meeting with his ex-wife, demanded to go, which he refused, the paper reported.

Nothing was said until after the wild drunken party on Sunday night where it “all came out spectacularly”.

During the argument, Wood apparently threw her clothes from the balcony and then out on to the street.

Police attended the row and a Scotland Yard spokesman said no “offences were alleged” and no arrests made.

It also emerged that Wood had recently arranged to rent a flat near his former matrimonial home in Kingston, South-West London, which he moved into on Tuesday before spending the night dining with his family, the paper reported.

A spokeswoman for Wood was not immediately available for comment.

Ronnie Wood and his girlfriend make up

By Mark Blunden, London Lite Last updated at 13:47pm on 17.09.09
Ronnie Wood is still with his 20-year-old Russian girlfriend despite a screaming row in the street, it was reported today.

The Rolling Stones guitarist, 62, was said to have threatened to kick Ekaterina Ivanova out of his rented Belsize Park mansion. But the pair have patched things up and “are still living together”, according to a source close to Wood.

Not ova: Ronnie Wood and Ekaterina Ivanova

The argument on Monday night reportedly flared when Wood said he planned to have dinner with his estranged wife, Jo, 54. Neighbours claimed they heard Ivanova threatening to kill herself.

She reportedly yelled: “You are going to find me dead.” The row, which allegedly followed a party, apparently became so heated that someone dialled 999 as the pair traded insults in the street.

Wood is said to have thrown his lover's clothes out and told her to “f*** off home” before police arrived to calm the pair. A source said Ivanova had demanded to attend Wood's planned dinner with Jo.

The couple met last April when Ivanova was 18.

They said it wouldn't last... and it didn't: Ronnie Wood moves out of love nest after blazing row with 20-year-old girlfriend

By Natalie Clarke And Richard Simpson
Last updated at 1:39 AM on 19th September 2009

It's over: Ronnie Wood has parted ways with 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova after a 12-month romance

Sooner or later, the fun of pretending to be a teenager in the throes of young love was going to wear off for Ronnie Wood.
It has, admittedly, taken longer than everyone thought  -  more than a year, in fact.
When you're 20, a screaming bust-up in the middle of the night that results in the police turning up and clothes being lobbed out of the window can be viewed as affirmation of the intensity of one's passion.

When you're a 62-year-old grandad, it's just dull  -  and exhausting.
Wood's row with his 20-year-old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova in the early hours of Monday culminated, according to one neighbour, with the Russian's pronouncement: 'I'm going to kill myself. You are going to find me dead.'
Wood's response was apparently more prosaic: 'F*** off home, you slut.'
On Thursday night, Wood sent his bodyguard back to the North London apartment he has been sharing with Ekaterina, known as Katya, to collect his belongings.
Guitars, furniture and artwork were loaded into a white removal van and taken to the Rolling Stone's new address about five miles away from his former marital home in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.

He arranged to rent the flat a few weeks ago, suggesting he has been planning an escape from Katya  -  whom he met in a Soho bar in July last year  -  for some time.

'He's bored of her, it's as simple as that,' says a friend. 'And he desperately misses his family.'

The location of Ronnie's new home suggests this is part of a well thought out plan to inveigle himself with his wife and family.
Yesterday Ronnie was believed to be at this new property. There has been no sign of Katya at the North London flat this week. Jo, meanwhile, spent yesterday at the BBC Television Centre in Wood Lane, West London, preparing for television stardom.
Ronnie's tiring of Katya comes at precisely the time that his estranged wife Jo has reached the completion of her 'journey' from long-suffering wife to sexy, single rock chick (second-generation, clean-living, impeccably green).
Last night she was set for her debut in the opening live show in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Moving out: The Rolling Stones guitarist sent a team to remove his belonging from the mansion he shared with the Russian waitress

Packing up: Ronnie is believed to be moving to a new address near his former marital home in Kingston, south west London.

Stepping onto the dancefloor in her sequins and a handsome man on her arm  -  Brendan Cole, one of the show's more overtly heterosexual professional dancers  -  was to be a moment loaded with symbolism, the casting off the old for the new, and it can't have escaped Ronnie's notice.

Next week, he and the other members of the Rolling Stones are due to fly out by private jet to Ronnie's estate in County Kildare, Ireland, to record their latest album, which could take a couple of months.
According to a friend, Ronnie was keen to tie up things with Katya  - i.e. get rid of her  -  before he left. At the same time, he wanted to set in motion his efforts to persuade Jo to take him back  -  perhaps have dinner, lay his cards on the table and then leave her to mull things over while he recorded the album and she focused on Strictly.

He certainly needed to get on with it, given that divorce proceedings are already underway.
So a dinner was arranged for this week, with the couple accompanied by their daughter Leah, her husband Jack Macdonald and their three-month-old daughter Maggie.
Ronnie mentioned the meeting to Katya. She took it badly. She insisted she go, too. He refused.
His intention to dine with Jo is believed to be the cause of the bust-up in the early hours of Monday, though it seems that if it hadn't been that, Wood might have contrived something else to start a row.
But will Jo take him back? Logic and common sense dictate that there is no way she would even contemplate it. After 31 years putting up with the strain of living with an alcoholic, he thanked her by running off with a girl barely out of her teens.
It is unthinkable that she should forgive him. But Jo is battling another force which is out of her control  -  and is more powerful than all the most valid reasons not to take him back. She loves him.

Clear out: Ronnie's relocation comes after he had a blazing row with Ekatrina earlier this week

She has spent most of her life with this man, raised four children with him (Jesse and Jamie from Ronnie and Jo's previous marriages and Leah and Tyrone together) and been part of the Rolling Stones circus all that time. She misses him.
'Jo is still in love with Ronnie, that is not the problem,' says a family friend of the couple.

'But how can she forgive him for the pain he has caused her and the family? They are talking again, but this is part of a very long process.
'It may be years before he is able to earn back the trust.'

Most of those close to Jo are vehemently opposed to a reconciliation.
'We don't want Ronnie to split up with this girl,' says one close family friend. 'If he's with her, he'll stay away from Jo.
'What Ronnie put Jo through was terrible, and I'm not just talking about his running off with a young girl. Before that it was a constant battle trying to keep him off the booze. We'd tried to hide the bottles from him, do everything we could, but it was no good.
'Jo's pulled herself together and got on with her life. She has real class. We don't want Ronnie back spoiling everything.
'Anyway, Jo won't take him back unless he gives up the drink  -  and there's no sign of that, is there?'
Ronnie's children were deeply angry with him at the pain he caused their mother.
As one family friend put it: 'The family have had a hellish year. They put on smiles and a front, but behind the scenes there has been real anguish.'

For the first few months after Ronnie left Jo for Katya, there was little, if any, contact between the Rolling Stone and his children.
At present, it is believed that Ronnie's sons remain angry with their father and are vehemently against a reconciliation.

He wants her back: Friends say Ronnie is attempting the reconcile with his wife Jo, seen here training for Strictly Come Dancing with dance partner
Brendan Cole yesterday

His daughter Leah, however, is believed to have softened towards him. She feels pity for him because of his alcoholism, and knows, too, that her mother still adores him.
'Despite everything, Leah can't bear the estrangement between her parents and would love them to be together again, or at least become close friends,' says a friend.

'And Jo is wavering because she loves Ronnie.'
On Wednesday, Leah and her baby daughter Maggie accompanied her father to a photoshoot at David Bailey's studio in Holborn, Central London.
Wood, an accomplished artist, has just designed a range of clothing for Liberty and has asked Leah to front the campaign.
According to one report, Katya had thought she was the perfect person to model the clothes, and Wood's refusal to let her has been another source of tension between the couple.

Indeed, over the past few months, Katya, who says she is not Russian but was actually born in a small republic bordering China called Kyrgyztan, has become rather demanding. What appealed to Ronnie at the outset was her air of innocence, her kookiness.

He believed she wanted him for himself, not because he was a Rolling Stone. And she not only let him drink, but she drank with him, unlike Jo, who was on at him all the time to stop.

As is the norm with many young women who hook up with world famous multimillionaires, Katya, who says she came to England as a child and grew up with her mother in London, says she had only the vaguest sense that he was a celebrity.
But of late, it seems, Katya has grown aware that her lover, however drunk and dishevelled he may be at times, is a man of considerable talent whose name still opens doors.
She liked the idea of being his muse and becoming famous in her own right.
But it now looks like Ronnie has different plans  -  and a different woman on his mind.
Is there any chance that over the next few weeks the Strictly cameras will home in on Ronnie sitting in the front row at the BBC Television Centre, cheering on his estranged wife?
It would be a gift for the show's producers, but does Jo want it?
It's a question she must ask herself a lot, but probably does not yet know the answer

RON AND KAT'S CASTLE

By ANTONELLA LAZZERI

Published: 19 Sep 2009

RONNIE WOOD and lover EKATERINA IVANOVA have moved into a fairytale castle, The Sun can reveal.
The ROLLING STONES star, 62, and Kat, 20, are renting the turreted home in the South of England for £5,000 a month.

They were reported to have split after neighbours called cops to a row at their North London flat earlier this week.

But yesterday they looked as much in love as ever as they walked into their new love nest.

The home boasts panoramic countryside views. It has three bathrooms, four bedrooms, a library and secure electric gates.

Ronnie is said to be "over-the-moon" with the pad, which he rented for a year and hopes to buy.

He is said to have decided to leave the couple's London flat to find somewhere more private.

His new neighbours were horrified yesterday to learn he had moved in. One said: "That's all we need. It's so nice and quiet round here."

ONE FACE IS MISSING

ROCK Lords THE FACES are finally getting back together - but without legendary frontman ROD STEWART.
The band split in 1975 but three surviving members - guitarist RONNIE WOOD, drummer KENNEY JONES and keyboard player IAN McLAGAN - have begun rehearsing for a charity event this Christmas.

It was hoped Rod would join them but the soulful Scot has declined as he has an album coming out this autumn and fears taking part in the reunion would detract from it. Nevertheless, the other three are pushing ahead with the event which they intend to stage at the Royal Albert Hall in December.

They plan to replace their formidable former frontman with special guests.

I'm told: "Ronnie, Kenney and Ian have been trying their best to persuade Rod to sign up but he is focusing on his new Soul Book covers collection which is due in November.

"Rehearsals have already begun and everyone's really positive. If it goes well, they intend to stage some more."

Ronnie Wood back with Russian lover Ekaterina Ivanova

Exclusive by Gary Anderson 20/09/2009

Ronnie and Kat & kiss make up

Ronnie Wood holds his 20-year-old Russian lover in his arms and kisses her on the lips - putting paid to rumours he has dumped her.

The 62-year-old Rolling Stone looks more besotted than ever with Ekaterina Ivanova as the pair embrace just days after a furious bust-up led to claims he had ended their year-long relationship.

Advertisement - article continues below »

And the Sunday Mirror can reveal that far from splitting up the couple have moved into a new home together - a stunning £5,000-a-month three-bedroom apartment in a mock castle in Surrey. It's just five miles from the mansion Ronnie shared with estranged wife Jo, 53, currently starring in Strictly Come Dancing. And yesterday Ronnie and Ekaterina went shopping together - a sure sign of domestic bliss.

The loving photographs were taken outside the Bengal Lancer Indian restaurant in Claygate, Surrey, on Friday night. The couple shared a quiet candlelit table well away from other diners, while a musician played romantic tunes on a grand piano. At one stage they put on their coats as they nipped outside for a cigarette. Ekaterina giggled as grinning Ronnie held her by the waist. An onlooker said: "Ronnie gave her a big cuddle before giving her a big kiss on the lips. They were like schoolkids - they looked so happy to be together."

Earlier this week police were called to a bust-up at the couple's North London flat. One neighbour claimed Ekaterina threatened to kill herself during the 2am showdown, and Ronnie yelled at her: "F*** off home, you slut."

Rolling Stone and Kat look in love again, but..

By Carole Aye Maung & Dan Wootton, 20/09/2009

LOVE-CHEAT rocker Ronnie Wood grasps the hand of his young girlfriend in an attempt to shake off rumours of a split.

But we can reveal the very public display of affection is just papering over the cracks.

Because the Rolling Stones guitarist has confided to friends that his relationship with the girl 42 years his junior is DOOMED. We can also reveal Ronnie:

MOANED in an emotional phone call to dumped wife Jo about his "life of hell" with 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova.
WHINED to pals that ditching his missus for "Katia" is the biggest mistake of his life.
FACES heartbreak when he finds out, in the words of his band's hit, you can't always get what you want - because friends have confirmed Jo will NEVER take him back.

During his stroll with Katia in Esher, Surrey, on Friday Ronnie, 62, insisted: "There's a load of untruths. But we're getting on great." See video of their "love-in" at notw.co.uk.

He was speaking days after five police officers were called to the couple's £5million rented home in north London when neighbours reported a furious row. It is claimed Katia threatened suicide after discovering Ronnie had arranged a dinner date with his ex, who is starring in hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

Tearful Katia was heard yelling an, "It's me or her," ultimatum in a bid to keep Ronnie from contact with Jo.

But he refused to shut out his model wife after months of carefully getting back on talking terms with his family.

His refusal to follow her demands led Katia to threaten to kill herself.

A source close to Ronnie said: "Kat blew her top about his closeness again with Jo. She is insecure and scared that Ronnie is trying to win back his wife."

Jo called Ronnie after hearing about the bust-up. A pal of the rocker told us: "Jo made the first move and called him to make sure he was all right.

"But then Ronnie called Jo behind Katia's back. He poured his heart out about his hell living with a woman young enough to be his granddaughter.

"He told Jo that he and Katia row a lot. He says the reason they row is the 42-year age gap, which is really starting to take its toll.

Yeah, it was mentioned, although to be honest I'm not sure where THAT info has come from.

Been asking around about it (including an e-mail to the author of the story) and havent heard anything back yet.  Find it a bit hard to believe, personally.

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and Russian girlfriend rent Surrey castle

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and his on-off Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova have moved into a Surrey castle together.

By Rebecca Lefort
Published: 9:30AM BST 20 Sep 2009

Last week it appeared that the couple’s tumultuous relationship was finally over, but they now appear to be giving it another try.

In the latest instalment of their romantic saga, Wood and Miss Ivanova, who is 42 years his junior, moved into their new home at Ruxley Towers, Cobham, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The 62-year-old Rolling Stone and the girl, said to be known to his family only as ‘The Russian’, arrived in a taxi before leaving for dinner at the exclusive Wisley Golf Club near Guildford in Surrey.

One onlooker said: “Ronnie looked a bit embarrassed but very lovey-dovey. They had obviously made up.”

Three weeks ago, he arranged to rent the £4,000-a-week property from a member of the Lacoste family, who own the French sportswear label. He has taken a year-long lease on the home, which features an octagonal tower complete with a turret and gargoyles.

It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a library.

Belongings started to arrive on Tuesday, just hours after a row between the pair that is reported to have spilt into the street outside their North London flat.

The argument is said to have been prompted by Wood’s decision to dine with his estranged wife Jo – a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing.

Also at the dinner was Wood’s daughter Leah, 30, and four-month-old grandchild Maggie Dylan.

A friend told The Mail on Sunday: “It isn’t over with Ekaterina but in all honesty Ronnie doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s really unhappy.

“He’s told Jo that it isn’t all over with Ekaterina but he’s agreed to put their divorce on hold until after the new year. Ekaterina freaked out at that and it has added to the problems they’ve been having.

“They haven’t changed their minds about divorcing but they’re not in any rush.

“Ekaterina would like everything to be done as quickly as possible. But Jo has a lot on her plate and the last thing she needs now is to have to deal with lawyers.”

RONNIE WOOD BACK WITH EKATERINA IVANOVA

Love turmoil Ronnie...
Amy Nelmes; Katie Hind

Ronnie Wood beamed from ear to ear yesterday as he posed happily with his 20-year-old Russian doll after a stormy week in which the Rolling Stone...

Chucked Ekaterina Ivanova's clothes out of their love-nest.

Tried to win back his Strictly Come Dancing wife Jo, 54.

Rushed back to his Russian lover after she reportedly threatened to harm herself.

Yesterday, as the couple cuddled at an incredible mock white castle in Claygate, Surrey, where they are staying as they try to patch up their relationship, exwaitress Ekaterina told The People: "We are still together and happy."

She added: "Nothing's happened. You don't even know anything about us, how dare you presume such things.

"You don't need to be sorry about anything, we are both still together and happy.

"We haven't left each other's side for weeks, the papers are full of lies.

"I don't know who's making them up. It's f***ing nuts."

But last pals claimed Ronnie and Ekaterina - 42 years his junior - had been involved in a series of furious rows as he tried to patch up his 23-year marriage to Jo.

Ignoring

The source added: "Ekaterina was threatening to do all sorts of harm to herself after last Monday's row with Ronnie. "After ignoring her for three days he agreed to meet up with the her.

"They appear to have restored some sort of normality to their relationship now. But you can never predict anything with those two."

Ronnie, 62, had earlier told pals he was close to an astonishing reunion with his estranged wife Jo after claiming: "I know she'll take me back."

The guitarist told one close friend yesterday: "I have grovelled and begged - she hasn't said 'no'."

In a bid to prove to Jo that he was truly over Ekaterina he vowed to cut up gold-framed nude paintings of his lover which he was planning to sell in Russia for £500,000.

Ronnie, who walked out on Jo 15 months ago, also banned his Russian girlfriend from modelling his new range of T-shirts at a photo-session last week in which he was reunited with his daughter Leah, 30, and his grandaughter Maggie. Instead Ronnie asked Leah to model his new range which will be sold at top London store Liberty. He left Ekaterina fuming by banning her even though she believed she had the perfect look to model the clothes.

Ronnie and wife Jo The shoot by his old mate and celebrity snapper David Bailey, 71, took place two days after Ronnie stormed out of the north London home he shared with his lover following a ferocious row. An onlooker at the photoshoot said: "Ronnie didn't look troubled at all, even though he'd split from Ekaterina a couple of days earlier.

"He was delighted that Leah and the baby turned up, it turned into a real family affair."

The hard-living Stone also told his close pal for the first time why he believes his marriage to Jo broke down and why he began dating Ekaterina, who was just 18 at the time.

Ronnie told his friend: "Jo knows I ran away from the whole situation because I was under massive pressure.

I was worried about my art business, I worried that we would end up skint.

"Jo and I talked about this last week, we are trying to work through it."

Last month Jo and Ronnie received their decree nisi but they have put splitting their estate on hold until next year.

Ronnie's neighbours in Belsize Park, North London told how he threw Ekaterina's clothes out last Monday and yelled: "F*** off home, you s***."

But by Friday night they were spotted in Esher High Street, Surrey, after having a meal together. An onlooker said: "It looked like things were all right between them again.

"They were certainly not arguing and were walking happily after having a meal."

The couple are now renting a £400,000 apartment in an exclusive Victorian gated complex complete with mock castle in Claygate.

The pair arrived there on Friday.

The bizarre building is eight miles from Kingston where wife Jo lives.

Ronnie and Ekaterina stepped out hand-in-hand yesterday, smiling as they got into a car.

It's all on again... for the moment. Ronnie Wood moves into Surrey 'castle' with Russian lover
By Laura Collins

Last updated at 1:54 PM on 20th September 2009

After screaming matches, threats of suicide and what looked to be the end of the affair, it seems the most tender of reconciliations.

With a sheepish grin and an arm around the lover 42 years his junior, Ronnie Wood yesterday moved into his new home in Surrey - a home which, for the time being at least, is Ekaterina Ivanova’s, too.

Calm after the storm: A smiling Ronnie Wood and Ekaterina Ivanova at their new rented home in Surrey yesterday
It was hardly a rock-star entrance. At 4pm, clutching Waitrose ready-meals and bottles of wine, the 62-year-old Rolling Stone and the girl known to his family only as ‘The Russian’ arrived in a taxi at Ruxley Towers. No doubt neighbours hoped they were planning a quiet night in.

One onlooker said: ‘Ronnie looked a bit embarrassed but very lovey-dovey. They had obviously made up.’

Last night the couple smiled happily together as they headed for an evening out at the exclusive Wisley Golf Club near Guildford in Surrey.

The afternoon’s scenes of domestic bliss in genteel Cobham could hardly have been further removed from last week’s drama, when Ronnie and 20-year-old Ekaterina rowed furiously and publicly.

Three weeks ago, he arranged to rent the £4,000-a-week property from a member of the Lacoste family, who own the French sportswear label. He has taken a year-long lease on the quirky home, which features an octagonal tower complete with a turret and gargoyles.

It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a library.

Ronnie and Ekaterina arrive at their quirky home, which has four bedrooms and a library
Belongings started to arrive on Tuesday, just hours after the explosive row with Ekaterina that spilled into the street outside their North London flat.

Five police officers arrived after Ronnie’s decision to dine with his estranged wife Jo - a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing - prompted Ekaterina to erupt in a jealous rage.

Also at the dinner was Ronnie’s daughter Leah, 30, and four-month-old grandchild Maggie Dylan.

The cocktail waitress threatened suicide, before saying she would tell the world all the details of their tawdry affair, prompting cynics to wonder whether Ronnie might have decided that a kiss-and-make-up was preferable to a kiss-and-tell.

The truth is more shambolic, with Ronnie torn between three mistresses: Ekaterina, Jo and drink.

Speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday a friend said: ‘It isn’t over with Ekaterina but in all honesty Ronnie doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s really unhappy. He’s drinking heavily and Ekaterina hates that as much as Jo used to.

‘Leah struggles to have Ronnie around the baby when he’s drinking and refuses to have him round with Ekaterina, whom she loathes.

‘He’s told Jo that it isn’t all over with Ekaterina but he’s agreed to put their divorce on hold until after the new year. Ekaterina freaked out at that and it has added to the problems they’ve been having.

‘They haven’t changed their minds about divorcing but they’re not in any rush.

Ekaterina would like everything to be done as quickly as possible. But Jo has a lot on her plate and the last thing she needs now is to have to deal with lawyers.’

Rocker's retreat: Ruxley Towers in Surrey

The couple have agreed in principle to a settlement giving Jo, 54, in excess of £11.5million in cash, possession of the £12million former marital home in Kingston-upon-Thames and a monthly allowance of £10,000.

But they remain at loggerheads over the fate of their Irish farmhouse in County Kildare, where Ronnie took Ekaterina at the beginning of their relationship a year ago.

Holed up for ten days, the Stone painted his new lover nude, calling the picture simply No1 and selling it for £8,000.

A friend revealed: ‘Jo is adamant that he should sell that property and split the proceeds with her 50-50.

‘She says the house is now full of appalling memories and associations and has to go.

Back on the circuit: Ronnie and Ekat put their troubles behind them to party with snooker player Jimmy White last night

‘Ronnie doesn’t want to part with it because he loves the tax breaks that come with having a place in Ireland, and he has his artist’s studio and recording studio there. It’s unfortunate that the house is called Sandymount.

‘Ronnie’s old rocker friends started using it as a nickname for Ekaterina after he took her there. It’s all lewd and unpleasant. No wonder Jo wants shot of it.’

According to another well-placed source: ‘Jo is totally immersed in Strictly Come Dancing and doesn’t want any drama or trouble with the BBC because of Ronnie’s behaviour.’

Youre welcome. The recent ones were easy to find. I'm just sorry that 15 months of often-hilarious bitching bit the dust.

I didn't bother to add the Jo/Strictly Come Dancing stuff, although I'm sure there'll be a lot more of that in the press in the next few weeks.

RONNIE WOOD - RONNIE WOOD'S BACK WITH EKATERINA

Ronnie Wood has moved into a £4,000-a-week castle with Ekaterina Ivanova after agreeing to give their relationship another chance.

Ronnie Wood has reunited with his girlfriend after she reportedly threatened to reveal all about their relationship.

The Rolling Stones rocker has moved into a lavish £4,000-a-week castle in Surrey, England, with Ekaterina Ivanova - who threatened to kill herself following an argument last week - after deciding to give their romance another try, despite a string of furious rows between the pair.

Ekaterina, 20, is said to have warned her 62-year-old lover she would sell the story of their year-long relationship if he refused to take her back.

A source is quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "They were definitely on the rocks last week - the rows were huge. It isn't over with Ekaterina but in all honesty Ronnie doesn't know what he's doing. He's really unhappy.

"It's a bit of a fiery relationship but Ronnie is worried Ekaterina has him over a barrel. Without her, he has no one to turn to as his estranged wife Jo has made it clear she's moved on.

"Ronnie has made his bed and has to lie in it, so he's doing his best to make a go of things with Ekaterina."

Although Ekaterina is happy to be back with Ronnie, she has issued the rocker with a string of demands about their relationship, insisting he curb his drinking and urging him to press forward with his divorce.

The source added: "Ronnie is drinking heavily and Ekaterina hates that as much as Jo used to. He's told Jo that it isn't over with Ekaterina but he's agreed to put the divorce on hold until after the New Year.

"Ekaterina freaked out and that added to the problems they've been having. Ronnie and Jo haven't changed their minds about divorcing but they're not in any rush. However, Ekaterina would like it all done as quickly as possible.

Alcoholic Ronnie was married to Jo - who is currently competing in UK TV talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing' - for 23 years before he walked out on her last summer for the Russian beauty.

I wonder why Ronnie and Jo want to delay the divorce? Well, I can see why Ronnie would want to! It will cost him big. But it seems that Jo would want it all over with too. I just can't see Ronnie and Kat in a long term {I mean, like, lifelong} relationship. He really WILL be alone if and when they split...:( I do feel sorry for him {and the heavy drinking again is very worrying}, but he DID make his own bed...and he's a big boy. He'll just have to figure it all out for himself.

That's where the Stones need to gather and record the next album!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ronnie should tell Jo to fvck off, he's keeping that house and she gets the Kingston house. It's only fair! But Jo has to have everything HER way! She's out for revenge, and Jo says that house has to go because it has bad memories for HER, but it has GOOD memories for Ronnie! Why do the Stones 'need' to record their next album there? Is there nowhere else? There's still nothing to suggest this story is true anyway.

She might suck at running a business (does she? I dont know. Loads of companies are 'in the red') but he's managed to piss away a multi million dollar fortune about five times in his life (despite having earned enough money to do him until hes about 400) and has opened a few clubs and other projects over the last 25 years or so, all of which have gone bust in no time due to his general idiocy and financial incompetence. The only side venture Ronnie has done which has been a financial success has been his paintings.

Given the choice, I know which of the two of them I'd rather have running any business I was involved in.

As for who gets what - why does anyone care?

No news on a release date as yet, but his website is in the process of being revamped.

It's a soft drink - usually (and in Ronnie's case, judging by the carton) a blackcurrant juice.

Baby fears of Ronnie Wood's Russian lover's gran
Fiona May

The grandma of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's Russian lover Ekaterina Ivanova fears she will try for a baby with "the old f*rt".

Speaking yesterday from her home in Kazakhstan, Lyudmila Ivanova said: "God, those two are complicated.

"I don't know if she now plans to build her own career and study something - or does she just plan to get pregnant and have a child from Ronnie? "I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

She is a young girl and needs at some point to have a baby. The question is whether at his age Ronnie's able to create one?" And Lyudmila, 76, commenting on last week's brief split between Ronnie, 62, and Ekaterina, 20, added: "I thought the old f*rt was trying to get back to his wife Jo.

"I hope if that's what it's about that she's got more brains than my Katya and doesn't take him.

"I wish I could see Katya to make sure she is all right."

Ronnie Wood: I still love you, Jo
Star's confession to wife he dumped

ROLLING STORE: Ronnie in son's shop gig

ROCKY: Ron and Kat going through rough patch

LOVE TALK: With Jo

By James Desborough & Lottie Lumsden, 27/09/2009

CONFUSED rocker Ronnie Wood has pledged undying love . . . to the wife he dumped.

The Stone spilled out his feelings to the Strictly star in a heart-to-heart after she ordered their children to forgive him for his affair.

Then wildman Ron, 62, went straight back to Russian mistress Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, for a booze-up in Ireland.

A source close to the family told us: "Ronnie's been feeling raw. He spoke very emotionally to Jo this week and admitted he still loves her.

"He's just not certain how they move forward.

Ronnie's secret confession will infuriate Kat after a rocky couple of weeks in which the Moscow firecracker even threatened suicide over his continued closeness to Jo, 54.

And as he makes peace with his grown-up children, we can reveal Kat has told him to FORGET all about having kids with her.

On Thursday - as they toured bars in Dublin - she told us: "We are not interested in our own babies. God can you imagine?"

Pals believe his relationship with the ex-cocktail waitress will implode as next year's planned tour with the Stones gets nearer.

Our source said: "We think there'll be a reunion with Jo - but maybe not romantic yet. It's possible he'll ask her to join him on tour. She always travelled with the Stones as a PA and helper. Keith, Mick and Charlie all adore her.

"Ronnie is a total pro with his music - there is no way he'd jeopardise a Stones tour for a girl. Only he knows just how turbulent it is being with Kat.

"He does love being around her, but she's moody. And he worries she'd flare up on the road."

The old rocker would have a lot of hard work ahead of him persuading Jo to go. Two weeks ago she told us: "I still care for him. But would I ever take him back? No."

Ronnie ran off with Kat last July after an alcohol-fuelled sex romp in Ireland.

But the jobless blonde has felt left out since the Stone returned to work on fashion and music projects after months of hanging out at their homes and on exotic holidays.

She had hoped to be the face of his fashion project 'I Feel Like Painting'.

Our source said: "Kat expects Ronnie to open doors for her into showbiz. She wanted to be a TV presenter and do modelling, but this is not something he can sort at a drop of a hat."

Meanwhile in Dublin Kat moaned about the Irish weather - and even the Guinness. "I can't stand the stuff and thank God I don't drink it - I'd be as big as a house," she said. "Champagne is more my thing."

Ronnie later thrilled shoppers by jamming in a shop window with son Jesse as his band The Black Swan Effect did a storefront gig in Dublin's trendy Grafton Street.

Ronnie said: "I love playing with Jesse, and the band are great."

Well, the bit I highlighted was the quote where it says he's a 'total pro' with his music.

Such a pro that he admits to having done complete tours that he doesnt remember because he was permanently shitfaced.

The women may lag behind the music in terms of priority, but thats still not saying an awful lot.

Their's no way Mick or Keith let Kat anywhere near a Stones tour. :forfucksake

She sounds like a complete rocket going by the 'source''s quotes in that article.

And I loved this bit :

But the jobless blonde has felt left out since the Stone returned to work on fashion and music projects after months of hanging out at their homes and on exotic holidays.

She had hoped to be the face of his fashion project 'I Feel Like Painting'.

Our source said: "Kat expects Ronnie to open doors for her into showbiz. She wanted to be a TV presenter and do modelling, but this is not something he can sort at a drop of a hat."

"so tell me, Ms Ivanova, what was it that first attracted you to the wizened, alcoholic, sixty-something but nonetheless well-connected multi-millionaire Mr Wood?"

If he was a total pro, he would practice more and have something interesting to add musically.
From what I've heard, Jagger is over emphasizing his phrasings to make up for a lack of musical diversity.
Keith is Keith, and always brings his personality to his music.
Ron just plays completely sophomoric notes, so "total pro" doesn't work for me.

Agree. Last tour after Keith's accident, I personally saw several shows where he literally played all the guitar parts. He actually came through and saved the day. Anyone who saw the Giants Stadium show in September 2006 or the shows immedaitely before and after could see that. He can play several different instruments and play them well. Alcohol is a drug, and a nasty one. He's not the first talented artist to lose it to drugs and he won't be the last. It's a miracle that Keith has the constitution of an oak tree, bless his soul!

No more kids for Wood
IOL ENTERTAINMENT
29/09/2009 - 16:40:15
http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/no-more-kids-for-wood-428240.html

Ronnie Wood is refusing to have children with his 20-year-old girlfriend.

The 62-year-old Rolling Stones rocker – who has four kids and a stepson from his previous marriages - is reportedly refusing to give in to Ekaterina Ivanova’s demands that they start a family as he isn’t sure their relationship will last.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "Ekaterina is convinced she's found the love of her life and she wants to be a mother but Ronnie isn't so keen.

"His friends have been telling him not to rush into anything he may later regret so, for the time being, he's dodging the situation as best he can."

While Ronnie’s decision has made Ekaterina unhappy, her family are likely to be relieved.

The former waitress’ grandmother admitted earlier this week she worries about Ekaterina’s new relationship.

Speaking from her home in Kazakhstan, Lyudmila Ivanova said: "God, those two are complicated.

"I don't know if she now plans to build her own career and study something - or does she just plan to get pregnant and have a child from Ronnie? I wouldn't be surprised if she does. She is a young girl and needs at some point to have a baby. The question is whether at his age Ronnie's able to create one?"

Speaking about the couple’s recent argument which saw Ekaterina threaten to kill himself and Ronnie move his belongings out of their home, Lyudmila, 76, added: "I thought the old f**t was trying to get back to his wife Jo.”

Ronnie and Ekaterina have been dating since last July, when the rocker walked out on his wife of 23 years Jo Wood and fled to Ireland on a drinking binge with the Russian beauty.

Ronnie Wood in backstage bust-up with toy-girl Ekaterina Ivanova at Tom Jones gig

By Sharon Churcher

Row: Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova in Dublin
Ronnie Wood’s relationship with his young girlfriend is under new strain following a bizarre backstage row at a concert.
The hard-living Rolling Stone and Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, shocked fellow VIP guests by arguing after a show by singer Tom Jones in Dublin.
Wood, 62, who spent time in a rehab clinic last year, appeared to have been drinking.
A witness said at one point the guitarist began to stagger and exchange angry words with his Russian girlfriend before collapsing on the floor.
A New York author, who was among the 2,000 guests, said after the row, Ekaterina tried to grab Wood’s hand but he shook her off.
‘She looked like a small child who’d had her hand slapped. She then yanked him in close to her to whisper something in his ear, which he obviously didn’t like. His face scrunched up and contorted, and he recoiled from her touch.
‘He was trying to keep a smile on his face because fans had their cameras out. You had to feel awkward for the girl.’
Then Wood ‘fell right over,’ the author added.

Stone me: VIPs at Sir Tom Jones's performance were shocked by the arguing
‘He laughed it off, muttering something like, “It’s not the first stumble I’ve taken and it probably won’t be my last.
'His security people laughed too, but Ekaterina still seemed miffed.’
Last month police were called to the couple’s London home after a dispute. They are now renting a £4,000-a-week mansion in Surrey.

Pretty interesting read. From Times online.

Ronnie Wood, his women and his Liberty designs

It's 3pm in David Bailey's studio. Leah Wood is in the hairdresser's chair holding her four-month-old baby, Maggie Dylan. There's Bailey wandering round, pretending to be cross. "You breast-feeding? Dis-gustin'." There's a rack of hand-painted T-shirts, dresses and scarves, Ronnie Wood's debut collection for Liberty of London. Everyone is cooing over Maggie, which, much to Leah's delight, fires up Bailey further. "I hate babies," he mutters as she propels Maggie towards him, "and anyway, they smell." Indeed, the only element missing from the tableau is Ronnie Wood himself. "Where is the little twerpie?" sighs Sherry Daly, who has run the Stones' office for 30 years, as she tap-tap-taps into her Blackberry for maybe the fourth time. "He said he was only two miles away. I mean, it's only Surrey."

Then his trusty minder appears at the top of the stairs, and Wood is right behind him. A study in aged rock'n'rolldom, with that raven rooster do and pin-thin body clad in head-to-toe black, he makes a beeline for his granddaughter, picks her up and swoops her into the air.
"Oh God, not you as well," grumbles Bailey. "But here you are! And still bloody alive, eh?"
"Yeah, I know, mate, I know," says Wood sheepishly. "Miracle, innit? It's all been a bit crazy these past few days."

Crazy is right. Only 72 hours before, Wood was supposed to have had a "reconciliatory" dinner with Leah and his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Jo, at the former marital home in Kingston. It was only 48 hours before that when Katya, as he calls his 21-year-old Russian girlfriend, Ekaterina Ivanova, supposedly threatened to commit suicide because of that dinner, and the police had to be called to the couple's rented Belsize Park flat to sort it all out. Indeed, we've hardly been able to read about anything else in the papers this morning - how Wood supposedly said, "F*** off home, you slut", and then, in a drunken rage, threw her clothes out of the window; how part of the reason Katya went mad is because he promised her that she would be modelling the collection for Style today, not Leah.

Poor Ronnie. No wonder he seems a tad broken. It's one thing having a complicated domestic life when you're middle-aged, quite another when you're 62 years old. Still, he's obviously a very proud grandad and thrilled to see Leah, telling her all about his new pad near Sandown Park racecourse, how it has 140 steps and an octagonal tower and a view all the way to Wembley Stadium. And how she and Maggie must come round and visit.

Katya, meanwhile? "Oh, the papers, you don't read those, do you?" he says, patting his pocket for his ciggies. "Naaah, listen. There were a few harsh words that night between me and Kat, but the point about Belsize is it's like an echo chamber - you raise your voice and the neighbours hear everything. Kat, she's coming with me to the country, and if we have another argument, well, this time we'll have it in the middle of a field, ha, ha!"

Let's scroll back a bit, though. I must declare an interest here, for I know Jo Wood a little and, having visited their former marital home, having witnessed the cocoon she lovingly built round her husband - the vegetable garden, the TV suppers, the delicious organic Sunday roasts - having seen up close her general yumminess, I have to say it's all a bit of a mystery. To leave this treasure of a rock chick, who put up with the drunken outbursts and all those stints in rehab, whose life-long motto was "never show jealousy, don't nag about alcohol and always have sex" - was he feeling right in the head? As Wood once put it himself: "It's always when everything is going well that I screw things up."

Then again, isn't he entitled, as any of us are, to make a life change? Shouldn't we maybe lay off him a bit? His kids have, after all. "What can I say? I'm a permanent teenager. The older I get, the younger I get," shrugs Wood. "Me and Kat, it's been this great adventure, right, and I'm having fun. It's a new life for me, I'm in a different place to where I was 30 years ago, and Jo and me, we just moved on. She's gone her way, I've gone mine, and the great thing is that my kids still love me - you saw that."
It's the following afternoon, and we are now sitting at his favourite table in Bibendum in Chelsea, where he has just had a big (sober) fish-and-chip lunch with "Auntie" Sherry. Dressed today in one of his own new T-shirts (one of my favourites, with a gold guitar on the front), a jacket by Lanvin - "I love the frilly bits on the shoulders, they look like girl's knickers" - he seems less like he has the weight of the world on those bony shoulders of his. He didn't sleep well last night, "worrying about the clothing line, the new album and everything", but at least he relaxed and got to watch one of his favourite films, the thriller Copycat - "Don't you just love that line when he's in prison and asks her for a pair of her 'squirrel covers'?" The dirty old rocker is clearly back on form.

So is it possible, everyone wants to know, for someone 41 years his junior to fancy him? Well, apart from being a little deaf, Wood is in remarkably good nick. Thanks, perhaps, to his gypsy heritage, he still has all his hair and says he has never dyed it. Despite all the booze (he was supposed to have drunk two bottles of vodka a day when he first holed up with Katya in his Co Kildare retreat 15 months ago), he is in stunningly good shape, too, wearing the same size 28 jeans he was wearing in the 1970s. "We're all the same, me, Mick, Charlie, Keith. It drives my girlfriend mad than I can fit into her jeans."

The tabloids may hint that the only reason he and Katya are back together is because he wants to avoid a grimy kiss-and-tell, but the way he talks about her suggests otherwise. How she has become such a good cook since they started going out ("I'm the king of breakfasts, Kat's really good with the fish"); how he took her to Rome for her 21st birthday; how she'd love to illustrate children's books for a living; how "strong" and "moral" she is as a person; how she has had to be strong to "get through all of this".

And, speaking of Katya, a text arrives on Wood's mobile. "Ah, look, this is brilliant, it's her horoscope for the day: Leo. 'You are going to want to dream the day away and think of the recent traumatics that have taken place in your life,'" he reads carefully. "'At least pretend to play the professional - people are watching you.' That's great! You'll meet her, she'll be here in a few minutes." Then up he leaps, patting his pockets and groaning a little. "Got that coffee tummy thing going, oooh, but go on, order me another double espresso while I go outside for a couple of puffs."

It was soon after Wood came out of rehab last year that the possibility of designing his own line presented itself. Wood, Katya and Charlie Watts were late-night shopping in Liberty. "Everything was 50% off, and there I was, going, 'I'll have this couch, I'll have that chair' - I didn't realise what it really meant was 50% on. I swear I came out £5,000 lighter."

The upshot of the shopping trip was that he got to meet Tamara Salman, the creative director of Liberty, who later came to his studio (equipped, when he came out of rehab, with brushes and paints by his loyal friend Damien Hirst) and saw a canvas of his entitled I Feel Like Painting. Then and there, she told him he wasn't allowed to sell it to anyone, it was going to be turned into a line of clothing and accessories.

Hopefully it will be a money-spinner. Having to shell out for his divorce settlement, and because he was an employee before he eventually became a shareholder of the Stones, he could always do with the money. "I'm a terrible businessman," he says, back from his ciggie break, "but I do try." He does try to keep on the straight and narrow on the booze front, too, but, as he admits, it is a daily, if not hourly struggle. "I tried to have a drink, but I can't find a balance. When I do, Mr Hyde comes out, and the older I get, the worse I get," he says. "I suppose once you accept the fact it's never going to go away, then it's easier to live with, but a lack of self-esteem, that's always been my biggest problem. Always putting myself down."

On this note, in walks Katya, looking even younger in the flesh than she does in print. Wearing a green raincoat, black tights and the little titania hairband that has become her trademark, she looks like any other gorgeous art-school type you see going through the rails in Topshop. Except, perhaps, for her unbelievably luminous skin and picture-perfect teeth.
Wood leaps out of his chair to greet her and they smile impishly at each other. In an accent that's hard to place - part estuary, part posh, part, what is it, Australian? - she announces that she has passed her "mocks" at make-up school. She is brilliant at her new craft, according to Wood; in fact they were just over at Jay Jopling's house and she was making people up and this one guy thought she was incredible.

"I'm not really so passionate about it," she shrugs. "I just did it to kick myself up the arse and start getting out of bed."
"Yeah," says Wood proudly. "She gets out of bed at 7am now."

At 7am? That's impressive for a couple of night owls. "Yeah, well, we live in Surrey now," she says, fixing me with those crystal-blue eyes. Asking Wood to order her "a coffee or something" and announcing that she wouldn't mind a cigarette at some point - "What is this with these restaurants that have little smoking cages? Why stand in a cage if you can smoke on the street?" - they have a giggle about her text and "the situation" (it was this morning's front-page news again). Then she has a mock go at him about the fur boots she is wearing. "You say you got them for me in Rome, but they're from Liberty."
Then he asks her, because he couldn't remember the name, what that film she wants him to see is called. It turns out to be the 3-D supernatural slasher The Final Destination. Horror flicks, along with eLove, the reality show about cyber-dating, and The Girls of the Playboy Mansion, are what the pair will be watching on their sofa in Surrey. Next week they are off to Paris, where the collection will debut at the boutique l'Eclaireur.

Who knows what lies in the future? Katya is by no means stupid, and I admire her poise, her droll sense of humour. Wood has told me his "adventure" does not involve babies. She has said she would like one, though not for another 10 years.
You get the feeling that Wood is desperate for his friends and music buddies to welcome her into the fold. When Bobby Keys, the Stones' Texan saxophonist, calls in the middle of lunch to say he is in town, the first thing Wood mentions is how he wants Bobby to meet his "girl" and how he shouldn't believe anything he reads because "she's so great, man, you're gonna love her".
As Wood says, Katya is very strong. If anyone can make it work, it will be her. I do hope she looks after him as well as Jo. One gets the feeling that this is a man who might fall to pieces if she does not.

And HTM's article---SIGH. I still wish Ronnie wouldn't get fall-down-drunk. How long until he falls and REALLY can't get up? :( I'm hoping that along with his Gyspy heritage he's somehow, by reason of association, acquired a few of Keith's indestructable genes as well.

WOODS TO FORMALLY END MARRIAGE
RONNIE WOOD's estranged wife JO is expected to walk away with $10.4 million (£6.5 million) when she divorces the ROLLING STONE on Wednesday (11Nov09).
The veteran guitarist split from his wife of 23 years in July last year (08), after his affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova was exposed - and now the former couple will formally end their marriage when a judge pushes through a decree nisi in London's High Court.
But Jo will have to wait until the rocker sells his two homes in the British capital and Ireland before she receives her millions as part of the settlement.
A decree absolute - an official dissolution of their marriage - will be issued after a further six weeks.

After 24 years, which have included repeated stints in rehab to battle alcoholism (Ronnie), lines of heroin and cocaine (Ronnie), a replacement plastic septum for his cocaine-ravaged nose (Ronnie), multiple music tours of the world and even a joint arrest for cocaine possession in the Caribbean, one of rock's most enduring marriages ended yesterday at the High Court in London.

Ronnie and Jo Wood, who met at the height of the Rolling Stones' fame and whose union endured decades of the guitarist's notoriously excessive lifestyle, were granted a decree nisi after he admitted adultery.

Details of the financial settlement were not made public but it was reported that Mrs Wood, 54, will receive £6.5m from her husband's fortune, which was valued at £35m earlier this year – half what it was.

The couple split after the 62-year-old grandfather-of-six embarked on an affair with a 20-year-old Russian cocktail waitress, Ekaterina Ivanova, during a vodka drinking spree in Ireland last year. Ms Ivanova was not mentioned in the court documents released – one of 23 "quickie" cases heard by a judge yesterday – but the star admitted adultery to his wife shortly before they separated.

Mrs Wood, who describes herself as a rock chick turned eco-warrior and now markets her own range of organic beauty products, stated that the relationship had broken down and she found it intolerable to live with her former husband.

Although there had been considerable speculation surrounding the size of the payout following Sir Paul McCartney's £24.3m settlement with Heather Mills, legal experts said it was a misconception that spouses could expect half their former partner's fortune.

Mr Wood's money ran out at least twice during their marriage. In a recent interview he admitted: "I'm a terrible businessman ... but I do try." His failed ventures include the nightclub Woody's, and he has been known to spend up to £1,000 a week on flowers, more on drugs and at one point £170,000 a year on chauffeured cars. His son Jamie conceded: "Ronnie's absolutely hopeless with money. He doesn't have a clue. First, because he never spends any. And then every so often he'll go off on a spree and be really guilty because he'll spend £10,000."

The guitarist officially joined the Rolling Stones in December 1976 when their biggest hits were largely behind them. He only became a full partner in the business in 1990 and enjoys none of the lucrative songwriting royalties shared by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

However he has toured with the band since 1975 and has a number of solo albums to his name. He wasalso a key member of The Faces when Rod Stewart was lead singer.

Wood has bought a new home close to Sandown Park racecourse complete with an octagonal tower and sweeping views over the Thames Valley. He has been as well known in recent years for his painting as his music – he once sold a canvas to an American collector for over £1m.

Mrs Wood has continued to live at the couple's £10m mansion at Kingston upon Thames in Surrey since the separation. It is understood that Mr Wood's estate in Co Kildare, Ireland, valued at £3m, has been on the market for much of this year.

She was a director of Wood's music company Rockyarch and company secretary of the painting business Scream Art. She also acted as Mr Wood's personal assistant during Rolling Stones tours, picking his clothes and cooking organic food for him on a travelling oven in their hotel rooms.

Yes! Jeff Beck absolutely stunned MSG the other night.
He was amazing.

Watch your back, Ronnie.

I agree with you SV, BECK was on FIRE, I think he wanted to prove to the world that he surely DESERVED to be inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. And he does! but could he? Would he? Would they? Should they? Would we?

I mentioned Beck not only on reputation but his MSG playing last week or so. Why not? Surely he'd like a huge payday and I'm sure he could add some incredible leads to the warhorses to spice them up. Keep Keith on his toes too. Will it happen? No...but we can dream can't we?

Many artistic geniuses are terrible with money (see Annie Lebowitz).  Could Jagger give Ronnie some financial tips?

Managing money is a science, Ronnie!
