50 years is an anniversary, so I can't see why not, maybe they'll come out with a DVD to mark the occasion, 50 x 4????? they'll have to get Ronnie sober up first.

At one point, quite possibly.  But if you predict a number of different dates, one of them is sure to be a winner.  :smilemick. (At least I was consistent with 2010 though!)

Never really thought they'd tour as early as spring though because to do so they'd need to be recording a new album by now. There was a few rumours of summer 2010 European shows a week or two back, which only really sounded plausible if they played the US before that - there's no way (IMO) a new tour is going to start anywhere but North America.

They will open with Emotional Rescue.

Pretty optimistic don't you think. Don't mean to be negative but I would not be surprised in the slightest if he's either dead, kicked out, or unavailable to play by 2010. He's out drinking with his new girlfriend and it wouldn't be crazy to guess that they're doing a little more than alcohol. That's on top of him being told a few years ago that he's in danger of getting emphysema or already having it and he still continues to smoke. I won't hold my breath. Still I have to say that it would be pretty pathetic if they tour without him. The only acceptable replacement is Mick Taylor and I doubt that will happen. Anyone else will just look and sound wrong.

I would be optimistic instead.. but I know as well how the things are going badly about Ronnie.
I've give up to the smoke, because I want have care of my health and by myself.
Alchohol and smoke, live always on a thin line as he's doing, for so many.. too much years..
keep you to die.
I would love to see once again here in Europe.
I would die as an happy girl.

Waddy Wachtel would do it for me, last time there were interesting guitar parts on a Stones album was when he played on Saint of Me, what a guitar part !

According to the dude co-ordinating U2's "360" tour, their set up make the Stones look small and Ac/dc look like a pub band.
