Title: RIP Milvina Dean (nsc)
Post by Starbuck on May 31st, 2009 at 7:20pm
The last survivor of the Titanic disaster has passed away....Milvina Dean, the youngest person aboard the ship (2 months old in 1912). in addition to survivor's guilt, she had to cope with the fact that her parents had named her milvina....

Committed to history? Now? That happened the day after the sinking. Anyway, RIP Miss Dean.

Oddly enough she died on the 98th anniversary of the ship's launch.

I was just down there a couple of days ago, in fact.

the Titanic was built and launched about 3 miles from where I live. I ended up down by the docks last Friday due to a traffic diversion because some stupid fucker caused traffic chaos by threatening to throw himself off a bridge.

“Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.”

“Saying we should keep the two-party system simply because it is working is like saying the Titanic voyage was a success because a few people survived on life rafts.”

Motes,
You are clearly misunderstood here IMO. You get a bad rap. Its not your fault - its more to do with the people here. They just dont get you. I really think you'd be better appreciated at Lew.org or are Shidoobee

you should dump this place and give it a try over there
