Kinda puts the 'effort' put into the zillionth remaster of our band's catalogue to shame a bit, doesnt it?

This is very exciting news. The shame in it is that most people have a lousy audio system and they won't be able to enjoy the four years worth of labor that went into it. I wish they were coming out in Super Audio CD format, but this will do. Expect this to seel quickly and wildly.

I imagine it will come out in Super Audio CD format, & whatever new audio format that comes along in the future, The Beatles are a guaranteed seller.

I have a few Beatles CD's but honestly, I'd rather spend my money on crack than these remasters. Or the new Universal Stones re-releases.

The point being that there's no way I'd spend the money on these remasters. BTW Check PM...

Another point being that Mick and Keith really need to get their arses off the very high horse they ride.  I would have never thought they'd be so rigid and orthodox when it comes to thinking outside the box.  Are the vaults sacred, destined only to be studied by some music historian 50 years hence?

To me they've become a corporate machine no longer interested in turning us on.  

I say let the high end Japanese bootleggers take over the vaults.  Maybe then we'd get something interesting.

Definitely excited about the Beatles remasters. I read the news today and all I could think was, "About fuckin' time!"  :perverted

Problem is, I already own the Beatles back catolouge - I'll be damned if I'll fork out money for albums I already own.

I'm glad they've remastered them, but it should've been done years ago.

This is gonna be tough for me. I already have the original CDs from 1987. Yall have anyidea how much it'll cost to start over again? I'm glad they did it, i think it's way overdo. But it's just gonna be a pain in the ass to start all over again. And of course, by the time i'm actually done with that collection...WHAMMO! there's another new & improved collection. Boy, those record companies keep us consumers busy don't they?

I wonder if they'll sound better than the amazing job Purple Chick did with them a couple of years ago?
